We all know these nerfs were made to deal with problem exotics and Vanishing Step, rather than because base dodge and barricade were too strong. But Citan's was already nerfed anyways, and dodge just by itself is probably the weakest class ability in the game, over all. If exotics or stealth are the problem, then the entire class shouldn't have to suffer for it. The cooldowns were already pretty long before the nerfs, with Hunters having received nothing but nerfs every time dodge has had cooldown changes, and Titan barricade by itself never seemed to be too strong with its old cooldown. Instead of punishing all builds for both classes across the board, Bungo should be nerfing the specific exotics or aspects that are too dominant, just like they did with Citan's. It already felt pretty punishing having to wait for my dodge or my barricade on builds that didn't have ways of getting them back faster (even with Tier 10 class stat), or exotics or aspects to make them pack more of a punch when they were up. If it keeps up like this, class ability focused builds are gonna end up becoming more mandatory than optional. Now obviously there will still be outliers, I'm not saying no other builds will be viable, but it'll make a lot of builds that don't focus on their class abilities, but still need them, feel really crappy and clunky to play, and that's not fair to anyone. I'd be making the same argument if it was Warlocks getting slapped with this bs too, I play all 3 classes pretty equally.

4 RepliesDodge is literally fine. Only babies are crying right now. Oh no it takes a few seconds more to get my dodge.... Oh the horror. Unplayable. I really do hate my fellow hunters
-
6 RepliesIt would have been better to nerf / buff individual subclasses rather than the classes as a whole That being said, I'm glad Titans and Hunters got nerfed. Hopefully, we will start seeing more Warlocks in Crucible
-
Boo hoo a few seconds added to the base cool down were overkill? Rifts take 1:22! At base! You want to complain? You literally have multiple exotics and mods that boost the recharge rate of your class abilities get over it.
-
1 ReplyAgreed. Uncalled for nerf that feels bad. Seems like another example of fun pve things getting nerfed due to pvp balance. Hate this change
-
6 RepliesEveryone should stop relying on abilities and get back to gun play anyways!
-
Both dodge and where the most overkill in pve. Underfire the barrier can be shot down faster then it goes up, right now it serves no purpose. So if anywhere reverse both for pve

Edited by BoomerSooner51: 1/29/2023 3:12:36 PMOverkill is the only way these ass clowns know how to nerf. It's exactly why this community needs to shut the fuck up about asking for nerfs.

2 RepliesI play alot of my hunter and next in line is easily my titan. Literally both feel fine you're all incredibly over dramatic
-
No they weren't. How about you just get good
-
2 RepliesDodge is by far the best evasive maneuver in the game. I only play p p on my Hunter now because it's the easiest to maintain a respectable KD.
-
What's wrong with the dodge nerf? Its not like it's at a huge cooldown. Neither is barricade unless you're on void titan for obvious reasons.
-
It's not a huge nerf, no, but it still feels noticeably clunkier and worse, to the point where it affects how most builds feel to play. Moreover though, the nerfs weren't necessary or justified in the first place. They should have been more precise with their nerfs, targeting specific problem exotics and/or aspects, like what they did with Citan's, instead of just slapping both classes with an across-the-board nerf when only a few parts of each were overperforming.

Hunter main titan secondary. Yah no the nerfs were 1000% justified and they aren’t overkill this feels like the sweet spot they needed to be at.
-
They were needed though

There’s nothing wrong with dodge
