Bungie makes it painfully obvious that they NEED to be killed immediately. Just like with a invader in gambit players ignore them until they drop a nuke.
EDIT: If you want to be a potato an be like“ i’Ll PlAy tHe gAmE hOW I wAnT! DoN’t tElL mE WHat to Do!” then go right ahead.

11 RepliesIt's 2023 and people still don't know how to use the orb on the techian strike. Get real
-
I’d bet there are a lot of players that don’t even realize there is helpful white text that appears above your weapons/abilities HUD to tell you when things are happening. Just like how I’d bet a lot of players don’t understand what most of the status effects are and where to find them on screen.
-
I think the health pool is a bit excessive for the enemy choice, but nothing my vorpal crown splitter can't solve.
-
3 RepliesThe worst is the speedrunner who sprints off ahead, ignoring all mobs, then triggers it and dies. By the time you get there its too late to catch it before it finishes its song.
-
I focus on them on principle, even if they did not cause their allies to be buffed and you to become suppressed. Why? The line when Xivu's warsong starts and you see the text "there is only war". No Xivu, you do not get to use that line. This isn't the grim darkness of the far future and you by comparison to the Imperium's finest are a rank amateur. For the sheer arrogance and for being a filthy xeno Xivu, you will be purged with extreme prejudice.

11 RepliesOn the moon battleground if you stand on the box where heavy is at and shoot the death tongue with a gl when it spawns you can knock into the pit by yourself.
-
Side note if you grab the laser at the end after opening the door you have to be the last one to enter the room and stay at the very front where in procs the returning to Allies count door to keep the laser
-
1 ReplyYou want too much. Most blueberries do not even know what lasers are for and waste them shooting ads. Not to mention not having any champion loadout.
-
I finished killing my 15, and I will still prioritize them. Why would I allow for the enemies to become more powerful, become suppressed and have shriekers shoot at me while an unstoppable and overload gang me. Plus I’m sure those who still need their triumph appreciate it. It’s teamwork after all.
-
Pretty sure half the players have been turned into zombies by the repetitive nature of this annoying activity where we're always -5 power. Just an annoying slog that no-one enjoys with blueberries. Then having someone run off looking for security drones for the entire time and ignore the objective. yay for Heist Battlegrounds
-
Thats why I always run with a loadout that can instantly kill them

I literally picked the upgrade that gives me a damage boost to them when picking up the heavy box with ability recharge...

OP: Play the game how I want you to play! but if you want to play it how you want to play, then go ahead. Everyone else:

Wtf is a Death tongue?
-
What is a death tongue 👅
-
At least you don't need that many for the triumph But yea people not being able to read is a big issue on this game
-
3 RepliesPeople that dont get simple mechanics in the game is not a question of skill. I genuinely believe these are very young kids, maybe really old people playing or anyone in between. If you are in between the 2 and do not understand how certain simple things are meant to be done, you are stupid. Im talking about stuff like the death tongues where the game literally tells you to quickly get rid of them.
-
I dont think people are ignoring deathtongues. they just dont know any better. death tongues and unstoppable ogres are the first enemies I focus on, and yea, it is frustrating when no one helps kill them. but there are ways to kill them quickly on your own. i've seen it. havent research how though.
-
I try to focus them down quick - they’re shiny.
-
1 ReplyThey aren’t hard to kill solo at all. Are you just looking to complain?
-
They're not that hard to solo kill, but yeah teammates should probably shoot the enemy. That's like the whole point of the game
-
I run lament for literally that reason. I can solo them fast that way
-
Tip: -Hunter: One two punch w liars handshake -Titan: one two punch w synthos -Warlock: one two punch/ anything -All w anarchy^. Kill them on your ones. I’ve Never relied on blueberries you’ll never get anything done.
-
I kill them myself every time I needed to with Starfire nades, Witherhoard and Hothead. It's perfectly doable just be there when it spawns.
