We've had the same upgrade system for 24 months. 2 YEARS. I'm tired of it. We all are. Same weapons just re-skins. Recycled seasonal content with the bunkers. I mean Lightfall isn't even out and already seen recycled weapons. I'm sorry but if I'm paying $60 I expect new stuff Bungie.

I pre-ordered light-fall an I will play it I have high hopes but as of now it's the last cent I can justify spending on this game I've played since the beginning but the constant cash grabs for half baked content devoid of any creative risk is too much I do t mind the seasonal model for its narrative value having something happen every week is nice but the time gated upgrades makes every second outside the 10 min weekly mission is a grindy rng mess of re issued weapons and armor this season bringing back season of the haunted and Rasputin assets an bringing back ikelos weapons for the 3rd time an seraph weapons that are coming back for the second time meanwhile they were accessible as world loot last season now dungeon loot (which I paid for separately)its just the last straw for me and as it seems many others As I said I bought light-fall for me it's my way of saying thank you to bungie for years of fun and a difficult goodbye to imo the best game I've had the pleasure of enjoying but I want to remember enjoying the game an not remember it's failures an with what bungie has talked about with there direction is just so out of touch I don't have the heart to stay an watch and experience the lows that are coming

2 Repliesif you bought all old seasons you can go for a refund. You already payed three times for seraph weapons, Dungeon has one copy paste boss. Steam will refund you, thats the only way bungie will learn

the upgrade system is a very good system, the time gate to upgrade is bad , lightfall guns in the TGA trailer are probably seasonal guns, the neomuna guns are different you can see the hc , but yeah a ROI level of guns reskin is bad even if is for seasonal weapons

You do realize it's because if they didn't use the same assets more stuff would need to be sunset, because too much memory take up. Yall act like games have infinite of it, they don't, it's easier and takes less memory to re use same assets. Literally every video game does the same thing
