Outside of the Grenade Aspect paired with a couple fragments and Heart of Inmost Light, Arc Titan is seriously underpowered. Fists of Havoc does literal meme damage on top of a 10 minute cooldown and lasting all of 10 seconds. Thundercrash without Cuirass does less then most Titan melees. Knockout is a joke between the fact that it lasts 6 seconds, can't be refreshed and the regen stops as so as you get hit. It should work like Roaring Flames imo.
Point Contact Cannon Brace is absolute garbage. Like the Lightning Strikes from it don't even one shot red bars on the EDZ. They do like 2,400 damage. I also personally think Thunderclap could benefit from a damage buff, solely because I can basically spam Thunderclaps if I just use Throwing Hammer. Ballistic Slam also has no sort of synergy with anything, like it just exists. Seismic Strike has synergy with the new Amplified status, Ballistic Slam does not.
Outside of the grenade build, as I said before, Arc Titan really has nothing going for it.

Edited by Joulevette12: 9/8/2022 2:15:22 AMMaybe in PvE but Pvp these guys killing everyone with one they get up close with high mobility gameover and lighting storms following you they running over everyone in the new IB mode

1 ReplyJust how warlock is barred from any reasonable conversation on their class as a whole because of the solar grenade build, same goes for titan because of their arc grenade build, enjoy!

2 RepliesYeah I wonder if whatever Bungie did to “fix” the Clappy Slappy exotic just made it feel “meh”. If you want to play around the new melee Skullfort is still a MUCH better exotic as with minimal build crafting you can get you charged melee back with just 1 kill. And the clappy exotic doesn’t boost damage enough in Legendary content or above to feel worth the exotic slot. To me it also doesn’t fit that well into a Titan play style. I get that being able to charge it on the move would probably break PvP. It’s not an up close melee. It’s a fusion rifle, except you can’t come around a corner. I think Bungie was terrified to make this as strong as pre-nerf Handheld Supernova. Still though, if you don’t try to spec around Thunder Clap, Arc Titan is very strong. Especially if you’re playing it like a Warlock and summoning sentient lighting storms all over the place. Using Paragrine Greaves is hilarious fun, as it turns Seismic Slam into a mini super, that if you get the kill can give a bunch of melee energy back. Warlocks feel great with a lot of mod mod work and escape artists, with a Voltshot primary. And Hunters, well, with Assassin’s cowl they could solo master content without ever using a weapon if it wasn’t for Champions. Titans only feel week, because Hunters are out there running way ahead with 100% charged melee uptime, just blowing up huge groups of enemies like if One Punch man was holding on to a live wire.

they overnerfed the new exotic gauntlets too, it wasn't even usable since season came out :(

7 RepliesOutside of grenade build as you said ... Man storm grenade pull more dmg than nova bomb 😅 Somehow warlock could take this aspect and get the melee blink instead Deal ?

I feel like the 3.0 sub-class builds are extremely one dimensional when it comes to play and build diversity. It's more Bungie b.s. For me, I consider them a blanket nerf. It feels like there are only a handful of builds that must be coupled with all of three exotics... for each. Also, it seems you need to use artifact mods when the new sub-class was introduced to achieve actual synergy. Post-intro gameplay just lacks compared to 2.0. (in my opinion) * I have been happy with void but arc and solar...meh

What are you smoking and where can I get it?
-
The real problem is why would you play anything besides Lorely Titan? Its almost unkillable
-
2 RepliesI expected better from the Titans... To think a post like this even exists.
-
Void, Solar and even Stasis beat Arc by a long shot.
-
Imo arc titan is quite strong all around in pvp and pve, but yes fist of havoc could definetly use some love
-
6 RepliesOverall I think arc 3.0 titan is strong but you’re 100% right in fist of havoc being complete trash inside of PvE and PvP and Point contact Cannon being more worthless than mask of the quite one.
-
Arc Titan natural game is great but I'll agree, both supers are bad. I know blah blah blah Cuirass of the Falling Star. Sorry but I have more then 1 exotic that I like.
-
8 RepliesPeople who cant build always say that. Meanwhile there are builds for titan melee where it outdamages gathering storm.

3 RepliesFor someone who is drunk you have good spelling

Edited by SlingshotNerd: 9/6/2022 1:09:08 AMLook out everyone we got a comedian over here

6 RepliesYou really feel that way huh? Try playing warlock and then come back and tell us how bad titans have it lol.
-
Not in pvp
-
All the melees synergize with synthosepes and skull fort though it's great
-
Imo neutral game city. Both titan and warlock supers need help, however.
-
Yesn’t

Edited by RADneck: 9/5/2022 5:32:14 PMWarlocks get to spam melees and grenades. That's about it. Have fun dealing damage.
-
21 RepliesYeah. It still has all the same issues standard arc did for the most part. There’s like one grenade that’s good and thunderclap sucks complete -blam!-. Supers still suck. And yes, I’m lumping Thundercrash in there because it’s literally one of the worst supers if you don’t pigeonhole into an extremely 1 dimensional lame -blam!- build.
-
This is exactly the problem with dawnblade too. Relegated to 1 good build with starfire and the designated well -blam!-.

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 9/5/2022 2:05:48 PMYup. Bottom tree was only good because, even after 2 nerfs, kills still extended the super. Waaayyyy to short now for its cool down. Top tree was alway butts and is basically what we have now with a bit more neutral game.
