CONTROLLER VS MOUSE AND KEYBOARD
Hello bungie, I was wondering if it would be possible for your team to implement a pvp matchmaking that could pair mouse and keyboard players with people using and same devices and controller players with controller players. I am originally a console player but I have moved over to PC. I enjoy the visuals and the frame rate, but the downside for me is playing with highly skilled mouse and keyboard users. I feel there is a very big skill gap when it comes to players that use controller vs mouse and keyboard. I have dealt with this for about 2 years now and the experience has not changed. Everytime I play with my console friends they don't want to play because they have to play pc players on mouse and keyboard and you can clearly see the speed increase that they have over controller players because of the mouse speed, not to mention hot keys and many more keynoard tricks at there disposal. I know call of duty has an option that locks players in with controller or mouse and keyboard and does not allow you to swap and I was wondering if you could implement a system the same way and be able to pair those players together. I know this is not something that can be done over night but I do feel that it would improve the quality of life on crossplay. By all means leave the option in to continue to play against players with mouse and keyboard but leave it as a selectable option like having to have crossplay enabled. I'm asking for an upgraded option of this. I hope people can get behind this or add to the idea.
PRIMARY CONCERN HERE IS NOT WHO IS BETTER! LOOKING FOR A WAY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CROSSPLAY LOOKING FOWARD! We know that there are cheaters and ways to cheat the system Bungie is cracking down on cheaters, it's becoming very expensive to cheat, the more they do to improve the quality of crossplay, the more loop holes will be found and they can be weeded out, but if we just don't do anything that is not solving any problems. PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK THAT INCLUDES WAYS TO IMPROVES QUALITY OF CROSSPLAY. Thank you.

The irony is PC players complain controller players are OP.

Load in as one input and use the other once you land.

Input based mm wouldn’t do anything anyway because players can dupe their input and you best believe they will 100% do that if that allows entering the console pool.

6 RepliesI mean It's not like they nerfed m&K a lot in the past seasons. Oh wait I played a pc lobby with a new light because I was doing a new light introduction problem (They wanted to try crucible. I know) and believe me. If you are average, you will be on almost equal footing

I've heard of mnk players complaining about controller players. I'm sure it's fine. You probably just need to expect on average everyone is probably going to be higher skilled on PC. PC players probably tend to be more serious about gaming.
