This game is burning my soul with farming.
Crafting weapons is not fun and it is time-consuming, I need to [b]FARM[/b] specific red bars to [b]FARM[/b] the blueprint and then [b]FARM[/b] more red bar weapons to then [b]FARM[/b] the weapons % (that I just got by [b]FARMING[/b]) to complete the bar that will allow me to [b]FARM[/b] the consumables so I can buy the weapon and then [b]FARM[/b] more red bars and then [b]FARM AGAIN[/b] the weapons % to [b]FARM[/b] the consumables to be able to buy a new version of the weapon that I must [b]FARM[/b] to a certain level to unlock the perks and then I will have the rolls that I want.
[b]FARM TO FARM TO FARM SO YOU CAN FARM TO FARM AND THEN FARM THE FARM.[/b]
DON'T FORGET THAT GUARDIAN GAMES IS JUST PURE FARMING !!!!!
AND DON'T FORGET THAT WE HAVE TO FARM FOR PINNACLES IF YOU STILL WANT TO DO
GMs NEXT SEASON!!!

5 RepliesWhat kills crafting for me is the limited view and World of Warcraft style farming ... maybe someone knows this - you killed what felt like 200 boars to get 4 ears. That's kind of insane even for fantasy. Which I almost understand - I have to farm red bar weapons to get blueprints to build a weapon with. What I don't understand psychologically - I've had this weapon 100 times before with different perks (some were really good) to build a weapon...you I've had 100 times before (boring). That does not motivate?! Even less do I understand - I then have to play a weapon with perks that are suboptimal for me, to LEVEL the weapon (not my crafting skill?! wtf) with suboptimal perks to reach a level to change to a prevered perk (which I had several times before) to level again to reach a slightly better perk (hopefully) and invest material and material and material and... And I can't just "switch" the already earned / bought perks - no, I have to "pay" again? This is poorly thought out. I would like to have weapons that I can access ONLY through crafting ... really nice weapons, cool looking and top function. Then the effort is justified. Or you "build" weapons together from past seasons, people would definitely like to do that. It drops *1* blueprint and already you can collect materials because it's worth it to you. But no - they offer you weapons that you have already obtained 100,000 times. That's just mindless. What actually annoys me - no one has ever sat down and really thought this through / played. I did not want to believe that the crafting is so off, because that is a main feature of WQ and they have certainly given a lot of thought. They haven't. 200 boars and 4 ears = player is robot = takes a lot of time = good for us. That's as smart as the catalysts with "and now do 400(!) activities". Why not 20000 - way better!

7 RepliesWhen it stops being fun, stop doing it. It really IS that simple. Unless you' are a streamer and this is how you earn your living, there is NO reason to continue playing a game that you are not enjoying....or engaging with it in a way that is no longer enjoyable. S-T-O-P.

Sounds like u don’t like looter shooters. Farming is a majority of what the premise of getting loot is. Maybe try an arena shooter or Mario kart?

It’s funny. I stopped playing til next season (apart from my last login to get something from xur) and I’ve only been playing actual farming and gathering games. Currently rune factory 5 and animal crossing. there’s something wrong with me…

1 ReplyI get it, but when the games feels like a second job/chore it might be time to take a break. I simply don't engage with the crafting system, I'm sharding red borders everyday without a second thought. I'm not trying to get all the seasonal challenges done because they're not worth the aggravation to me and a small pile of bright dust also just isn't worth it. Take a break, come back fresh next season.

Don't forget that end game weaponry like Adept weapons and raid weapons are only slightly better, so slightly hardly anyone notices, than the regular versions, and those regular versions of those weapons are only slightly better than the random sea of legendary weapons you get every day from umbrals and the tower. Because if any weapon really stood out they'd have to change it, this is Destiny 2 where everything and everyone is equal as -blam!- and you're not gonna stop us from equalizing every -blam!- thing!!!! Tell me how the raid smg is better than the dead orbit one. Tell me how any raid sniper is better than other ones like Dead Orbit or Adored. Tell me how the raid arc pulse outclasses other 450 or 540 pulses. They aren't better, they're just ornamental rewards. Ikelos SMG is still a monster just like most other weapons are and I don't need a crafted raid linear fusion when I can just use one with firing line, box breathing And if you think I give a -blam!- about Vanguards Vindication and that's going to make me regrind all my nightfall weapons then eat a -blam!- lol

The entire purpose of this game is to string you along and waste your time with minimal effort by the developers...just stop playing. It's become more predatory than a chinesium mobile game.

3 RepliesThis wasn’t as bad of a thing BEFORE seasons. Because story lines were longer and you have time to get what you want AND time to use it. Now it’s just farm farm farm or btw we are getting rid of that thing you just got. It won’t be as useful. So here’s something else you can farm for this next seasons. Seasons should have been for games with more PvP and less PvE.

2 RepliesCrafting does take a while, and nobody could realistically tell you it's faster than getting an RNG drop of the perks you want but it is though, a sure thing. Lemme ask you this... one friendly farmer to the next... If they removed the farming aspect of the game (getting randomized loot from the activities you play), then what would be left? The loot is the reason to play, is it not?
