Just wanted to pop a post for people to pool some general info, tips and loadout reccomendations.
This is going to be the first GM I attempt and I have a general idea of what to do and my load out, currently being:
Chroma Rush - Anti barrier
Wolftone Draw - Overload, arc dmg
One Thousand Voices - High dps, melting sepiks and occasionally champions
Using Blade Barrage w Shards of Galanor for ad clear, alternatively stasis for silence and squall but conscious that stasis & champions don't mix well

Shadebinder Ager’s Scepter/Ignition Code Arsenic Bite/Le Monarque Threaded Needle This is what i’ve been using for this week’s GM with three different LFGs. Ager’s Scepter for Stasis Crystals, Ignition Code for blinding. Le Monarque and Arsenic Bite for Void/Arc Overload Weapons, Threaded Needle for ranged DPS. Especially against the Boss and Spider Tank. Maybe a champion here and there.

I've been using ; Biting Winds Hard Light Threaded Needle Well-lock ** Stasis annoys the Overload champs It stuns them but doesn't remove their buff. Meaning they're still tanky feckers.

On hunter I have the same loadout (except I use the 7th serpath auto) and I run stasis. If you want add clear, stasis is better and you can lock down champions with it for easy kills. I can't really think of any reason I'd choose BB over stasis. On lock I've actually been using bottom tree nova and it's working prety well. In the add intensive areas having devour is handy and if you're good with the placement of the super, you can really mess up a lot of enemies with it or dump a lot of dmg into a sponge. I would use slowva but I've had some really wonky tracking with it recently where it literally does a turn away from where you're aiming and will fly towards one little add on thier own. I'll probably do a few runs on titan tomorrow. I think I'll probably run ursa because all the other trees are kinda meh in this case. I guess Bubble could have its uses but ursa probably does better. No point in using yeetcrash in a gm because there's a good chance if you don't kill your target you're dead.

5 RepliesFor your load out, I wouldn’t run 1k on this GM, a linear fusion with vorpal is a better option. I use threaded needle with vorpal. Le Monarque, as others have pointed out is a beast this time. Works great to stun lock and pick away at health of overloads and also works great for ranged add clear as you can proc the poison on groups of ads for faster kills. For auto rifles, your whole team can get by with only one, and you definitely don’t want more than two so check your teammates load outs. One of you or your teammates should run a kinetic sniper, mainly for all the vandal snipers in the tank area. It also helps with faster dps on the barrier champs while conserving heavy. Arbalest is also a good option to deal with shields generally and add some dps punch to your load out. You can then run the elemental bow of your choice, again check your teammates for what element you might need to cover. Revenant or bottom tree night stalker are better sub class options. For add control, focusing lens damage buff, or quick revives if teammates get too aggressive and push too far into a bad area (tank area this happens a lot). The tank area seems to be the biggest problem where people go down a lot. Try to deal with the snipers near the tank early so your team doesn’t get picked off from angles they don’t notice as they hit hard. Burn the tank once they are out of the way then you can slowly clean up the rest while being relatively safe. Boss room, the room on the left is your friend for cover, but don’t group up too much outside a well because well places splash damage can ruin your run quickly.

Dawnblade well of radiance, osmosis auto rifle for solar, arc bow, void linear fusion. All bases covered on shields/champions. And ya keep ya team alive.

I use Trinity Ghoul and usually end up with close to 200 kills per GM this week. It's super for ad control. Other than that just cover the elements and mods, should be enough. It's one of the easiest GMs.

2 RepliesYour loadout looks ok, but it could be better. I would use: Any primary auto rifle (I got a carbine with shield piercing rounds and vorpal) Le monarque Tarantula (arc lfr) Stasis for your hunter (helps more than bb in some places) With le monarque, you’ll most likely never use your auto. The lfr is for shields and dps I would also recommend sniper resistance Alright, here are some tips: First room:don’t have to kill the ads, if you stick left, you can avoid most of them Second room: only a barrier knight. Be careful as he can easily wipe your team 3rd room: have 2 people clear the ads. The last person should go to the right door and keep the overload busy (if they have le monarque, that’s great for stun locking him. Be careful though, as he can sometimes shoot) 4th room: stick back and clear the ads. Silence and squall is good for handling the group of enemies. I would recommend you take out the barrier champ before moving to the ads. When cleared, have one person scan and retreat to the back hallway place (I’m sure you know what I’m talking about; it’s where the train cars are). Just pick off the ads and you should be fine (be careful on the second wave as there is a large group of hive that spawn in. It’s another good place to use your super) Transition to 5th room: careful for the overload 5th room: this room is the worst in the strike. Take out the barrier and all the vandals at the back. Then focus on the brigs. After that, kill the walker. Then you can take out the champs and ads. Watch for snipers and the tank! Boss room is pretty easy, just stick in the entryway and pluck away at the boss. Best overall tip for you: stick back and take your time

I’ve cleared it 10 times now, id say this works the best: Supers: 1 well, 1 revenant or shadebinder, 1 ursas (or 2 wells) All fireteam running autos (I like seventh saraph) Kiss the rainbow with bows 1 trinity ghoul 1 le monarque 1 ticcu divination All heavy should be linear fusion: Reeds regret adept (vorpal with triple tap) threaded needle run the following mods: concussive damper Arc damage resistance Sniper damage resistance Overload bow Anti Barrier auto rifle protective light High energy fire taking charge Max intellect Max resilience linear fusion ammo finder (stack as much as possible) It’s really an easy GM, just be patient.

7 RepliesEdited by NVMYGT: 11/5/2021 12:52:58 PMBest advice? Use Le Monarch for overload, an auto for barrier, and a rocket launcher. Here was my first solo flawless Master Bay of Drowned Wishes while 1335 using that loadout (except I used a pulse for Unstoppable instead of auto for Barrier)
-
4 Replies1k has a horrible ammo capacity issue. You’re better off running a Linear Fusion. And you don’t HAVE to run both Anti Barrier and Overload. There’s not that many barrier champs. I would bring a sniper for Walker section or Witherhoard for add control. Helpful Tip, when y’all reach the Walker part Take the barrier out then Snipers and adds to the left building. Then Immediately take the Walker out! The champions will NOT despawn. Then the Brigs. Then Champions.

5 RepliesI think it would help to use hard light and a kinetic bow, at least that way with HL you can take down any element shield
-
3 clears with: 1) Ticcu’s, Kinetic Auto, 1 element not taken of LF/Machine Gun 2) Le Monarque, Kinetic Auto, 1 element not taken of LF/Machine Gun 3) Trinity Ghoul/Wolftone, Kinetic Auto, 1 element not taken of LF/Machine Gu Hunters: Stasis or Invisibility Warlocks: Well or Stasis Titans: Ward of Dawn or throwing hammers Seems like 2 Well of Radiance and any Stasis option works really well.
-
Titan- Sweet business, Uzume adept, crown splitter Job- crowd control, vandal elimination, captain erasure. (Yes we are that coordinated) Ward of Dawn, actium war rig. Warlock- Hung Jury or hailing confusion, both have surplus wellspring, Erianas vow, falling guillotine Job- Same as Titan but with getaway artist and bottom tree stormcaller for unlimited support and neutral game.

Auto sucks in pve, better using lament (i am joking obviously) that auto, eriana is the go for barrier and solar shield

Stasis and barrier champions go very well, just overloads that glitch when frozen. Run stasis, not solar. Otherwise your build is fine. Take it slow, stay near cover, you’ve got this.

I would not personally run 1k. You will have trouble with ammo and team mates especially in last room if you plan playing with randoms. It can work, but using legendary LFR is safer. If you have Divinity, it is great and will make everything easier, UNLESS again you play with randoms that save and use their heavy not before the boss.. Le monarque is best weapon currently against overloads. I soloed exodus crash GM with it on console. No other weapon beside Divinity is so good against overloads. If you have one person running barrier breaker, don’t waste your slots. Take sniper or blinding GL, bow and LFR. I think there is only 3 barriers in this GM, but tons of overload captains. My advice, but other things can work too..

What's the gm for 11/3/2021? /s

Edited by ImOnlyBleeding: 11/4/2021 2:22:13 PMI went Phoenix Well, Scathelocke (mainly because it was an AR I had in my inventory - any AR will do), Trinity Ghoul (keep the lightning rod perk up and you clear lots of adds with no aiming required), and Threaded Needle (great DPS and takes care of void shields on little servitors in boss room). This is one of the easier GMs, even if it's slightly tedious. You just need to know the safe-ish spots and be patient. On hunter, I would run bottom tree void (with sixth coyote, gambler's dodge, high mobility/strength for max invis), or stasis (add control).

Edited by Illuminary: 11/4/2021 1:48:10 PMWe used rainbow bows (Ticcu's, Trinity, Monarque) I used Succession because antibarrier auto rifle is embarrassing, let the other two use them. But, if I had to I'd use Horror Story with the 22 zoom scope for more range. We all used Threaded Needle. I was stasis wearing Eye, glacial nade for add block and defense because I'm using chains (also using hedrons, bonds, and conduction just for the bonus). Turret spam also. One guy used well, the other banner. But, this GM isn't all that hard; if you stand off to the left of the generator where you're waiting for ghost to lower the lasers you have enough room to safely engage the enemies without truly needing a well or banner often. At the end just stay in the room to the left and don't get stupid by attempting to come out unless it's pretty clear. It's easy enough to kill adds then dps the servitor and Sepiks. This is actually easier than I remember but I don't think I had turrets last time I did this as a GM.

I've been running Witherhord myself, arc bow, and threaded needle, on Ursa Titan. Running with 2 Warlcoks, they each have autos, and cover the other 2 elements, and run heavy fusions.
-
I would recommend: Any auto rifle with some range for anti barrier Le Monarque or ticuu's divination for your bow Whatever heavy you want. I ran a tracking sleepless rocket.

My team had these 3 loadouts: Succession Le Monarque Reeds Hung Jury Eriana's Reeds Last Breath Point of the Stag 1k Voices 2 phoenix wells 1 stasis lock. EZ clap.
