Destiny 2 making my PC crash (BSOD)

I am able to play other games and use my PC normally, but whenever I open Destiny and it stays open for like 20-30 minutes I get a blue screen with the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR error. I really don't know why it's happening only with Destiny. I also got another BSOD but this time it was right when I pressed play to start the game on Steam. It gave me the error "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" and said the system had failed because of "Bedaisy.sys". Seems like this bedaisy error is related to battleye anti cheat. My PC specs are: i7 9700f GTX1060 6GB 16GB Ram *Solved: The issue was OperaGX interfering with my NVIDIA drivers. I uninstalled it and the blue screens stopped. This also happens with Chrome.

I uninstalled and reinstalled battleye then went into advanced firewall settings and make sure all the BE (battleye) inbounds are allowed. I'm also running it as administrator. Seems to have fixed it! hopefully this helps! (edit: i crashed again)

    • i7 9700K GTX1080 11GB Ti 32GB 3200 Ram I was getting freezes and crashes a lot when Lost dropped. I fixed it by changing my video settings to lock the framerate to 60 on Vsync. Then making the game 'run as administrator'. Also make sure you have the latest driver installed for you video card. Battleye sometimes causes problems and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled via steam. If you go to your library and right click Destiny 2 / Manage / Browse local files, you should see a folder called battleeye. Click on this and an uninstall bat file and reinstall it again. Close steam and reopen it. Start Destiny 2 from steam and you should get a splash screen saying battleye loaded. This solved a lot of errors my end. Sometimes you need to do this every time you start destiny it sucks!

      • I'm a windows 10 user using an intel processor. I've not been able to play for 2 weeks (crashes every 5-10 minutes). I've just gone in to my BIOS settings and disabled "Intel Virtualization Technology" and I was able to play my first strike in a long time. Not ideal but I hope this works for you.

        • So this can occur with a drive failure on your system and it could be plaguing the area where destiny is installed. You need to check the drive for corruption after uninstalling the game.
