So bungie nerfs anarchy but not the reason we use them.

Over load champions need a nerf Its ridiculous how fast the health regen is on them. We need a nerf on them now.

      Overloads are fine. If people would actually finally realize that after a stun you HAVE TO KEEP shooting them with the active rounds to surpress them which stops their health regen despite them running around and shooting you (which you should consider beforehand). They even have the small red debuff cloud above their head while under that state. The overload mod does more than just stunning and it even states that in the description. The health regen is an active skill of overload champions and can be be stopped. Just as their teleport which can be stopped as well (it doesn't prevent them from actual walking and running). I played Glassway several times for my friends at least 6 times to get them their Conquerer title, including mine which I gilded for the first time this season. And we didn't cheesed the bossroom.

    • Champions in general just need to go or be completely reworked. They’re stale now. It was cool for awhile but the same old mechanic being used for two whole years as a means of increasing difficulty. Champions were a fun little thing at first. Then they became the endgame solution to add difficulty to every piece of the game. The biggest problem is how much their presence dictates loadouts. If champions are staying just make the armor mods “anti-barrier rounds” etc. instead of having it be specific to a weapon. Or even make it specific to a weapon slot like a “kinetic anti-barrier” mod. More customization in how we can approach content is always better. Feeling forced into a specific weapon type to deal with endgame content each season is part of why I don’t play as much anymore.

    • To be honest, this champion stuff was fun the first season they came up. Now is just irritating and determines which weapon you should use. I say remove them ffs

          • All enemy behavior is scripted, even overloads. If you cant deal with them, you simply havent read the script.

            • Overloads are simple to stun, and keep stunned. Unfortunately so many of you cant do it correctly, so you claim theyre "bugged" or not working as intended. Which is really strange, because any time myself or others stun them the intended way, the "bugs" seem to just.. Disapear?

              • Overloads are easy, let me know if you'd like advice on how to take them down. At any level, they're really a lot easier than what people think. Chances are you're not using the correct method. Just did a flawless master empire hunt, several parts of that mission where they send 2 or 3 overload/ barrier champs at you at a time.

                • If you work as a team they are easy to take down you just need to be brave and get on the mic. Otherwise, get Div and melt them

                    • Shoot at them with overload handcanon. Tadaaaaa. No more regen. And dont tall about "bugs" when you feel like they are bugged, its just that you use your overload round at the wrong moment. Besides we will have overloaw bow again.

                      • Champions need to go in general. But, if they aren’t, the health hasn’t been a problem for me. It’s the fact that when I shoot them with a GL (Anarchy and the like), the grenades go flying right through them. Now, THAT pisses me off.

                        • overload champs have been bugged for a while and bungie knows about it, I even think they know what is causing the issues, but it's bungie so they haven't fixed it yet and no communication on when/if they ever will.

                        • My fix to this is the artifacts mods for champions stay just cost 3 if it's not the seasons selected one
