14 RepliesGive it up. We've been asking Bungie to let us toggle auto dismantle Blues since Forsaken at least. They don't care about making the game convenient for us.
-
7 RepliesThe issue I would see there would be people complaining about blues that have a higher level being auto dismantled. Personally I'd love to have a toggle for auto dismantling items that are a lower level. Doesn't necessarily solve the same need you're looking to solve but it could still theoretically help.

Edited by Double07: 5/31/2021 9:42:46 AMBlues are enemies designed to delete your actual loot in post master. They can be troublesome especially if you don’t use the app after completing every activity.
-
Agreed. This was implemented in D1 with the greens and worked fine. Once you reach the Soft cap (Max Blue cap), it should go on auto-dismantle. Though I support the idea of a Toggle on/off; I know some people like blues for their looks, and there is the occasional shotty or sniper that people like to use. Def would reduce the need to travel back to the Tower after a few matches

With all the other nonsense I can pay real cash for at eververse, I would gladly pay for an auto delete feature. Something that allows me to auto delete any drops I get base on a criteria I set. All blues - delete Legendaries below 60 base - delete Umbral engrams - delete Give me something that I can set the threshold on so I don’t have to be bothered with the post master or waste time deleting useless items.
-
Yes, But Not. What I mean is that its good for optional but atlest people like me likes blues like refrain, roderic etc and having them up power is nice. So yeah it would be good as a option like a check box you tick or somthing but not as somthing forced ther some othe rfamous weapons like lor lysis or cuboid witch people actually like and use
-
Bump the ever living crap out of this. Shouldn’t even be a poll though.
-
I had made a suggestion once that the after the postmaster becomes full, it deletes by rarity rather that what’s been in there the longest. Many people didn’t like it and had some strong words against that:/
-
I would prefer postmaster 'prioritizing more than auto dismantle of blues. Basically the idea is that when the postmaster is full, it will selectively get rid of lower value items in order to keep more valuable ones. So blue gear gets cleared first, then legendaries, then exotics and masterwork materials.
-
I’ve had a lot less blues this season. Still too many, but definitely less.
-
Yes I would like to at lest have the availability to have auto decrypt for blues. I also wish there was no cap on certain things as well. Like glimmer, cores, prizems A-Shards and if not a no cap at lest the vault hold them. Also being able to to prick a certain amount of materials when trading into spider. This would also go for dismantling stuff as well. Last thing is the vault shouldn't be 500 it should hold unlimited or at lest 1,000.
-
1 ReplyI shouldn't need an external app open to help me manage my postmaster just because there's literally worthless crap all over the ground (some of which I never even see).
-
Blues shouldn't drop unless a.) They are a higher power level than your current gear. This always happens at the beginning of a season or expansion or b.) They aren't currently in your collection.
-
Bungie want you to come stand next to the cash shop (Eververse) as often as possible. It’s not a coincidence that so many blues drop or that we don’t have auto dismantle. At least you can access your post master from orbit, oh wait thats also the cash shop. It’s scummy, but it’s by design.

1 ReplyEdited by dirtycar74: 6/1/2021 9:37:48 AMThey should give us the OPTION, literally in the settings screen near "Helmet Always On" that says something like, "when at or above the seasonal power cap, auto-dismantle all rare and under items EXCEPT new/undiscovered". Increased player agency is always a good thing.
-
At least make it an option, maybe not a hard yes or hard no, but let the player decide.
-
Blues shouldn't go to the postmaster. They have no inherent value. If we are talking about leveling. People who need blues for this purpose are already watching what they get. They are already reshuffling gear and infusing or holding onto the highest level item. I personally can't remember the last time that I actually cared about a random blue item to maximize my power level. Especially a few weeks into a season as we get close to the cap. So there is no reason for them to be sent to the postmaster, taking up space and potentially bumping something that actually has value.

7 RepliesIt's funny how there are 341 votes at this point that says yes, but if Bungie actually did this a lot of the ones that said yes would be complaining to put it back the way it was when a new season starts knowing you have to start all over again leveling up. Be carful what you ask for because you just might get what you want, and for those that don't like the grinding in this game? You would have screwed yourself for saying yes knowing the absurd amount of duplicates in this game trying to grind for legendary engrams.
-
The ONLY THING I want is a button that dismantle everything in the postmaster at once and gives you all the resources back. Either blues only or everything is deleted.
-
10 RepliesNah, allow us to access postmaster from orbit. That would save our time going to tower just to dismantle blues
-
8 RepliesEdited by Ghostfire239: 5/31/2021 10:23:38 PMI lost 50 enhancement prisms because f this exact issue. I couldn’t put them in the vault and I didn’t have anything to spend them on yet, so they were just in the postmaster. Then it got filled up by blues, and the game decided to delete my enhancement prisms because they thought blues were more important. Some changes that need to happen: 1. Auto dismantling blues as a toggle feature 2. Blues should never go to the postmaster 3. When your Postmaster is 75% full then the game should have a notification that tells you (regardless of what activity you’re in) 4. Let us put Prisms and other materials in the vault.

Edited by Ataraxia: 6/1/2021 8:53:10 AMIDK if yall noticed but at every end game rewards screen the blues always stays at our inventory while the purps always goes to the postmaster when full. i would love to see the blues get overwritten by the purps so i don't have to dismantle and check my DIM for the rolls or to claim it. call it lazy but to each his own
-
1 ReplyThere should be an option somewhere to auto dismantle blues, like how we auto dismantle greens in D1. Walk over a blue engram? Get the gunsmith stuff instead. But keep it an option because sometimes (though this has been lessened with the current season) you get a blue you can use to infuse lower power level legendaries.
-
8 RepliesNah I love the way it pushes out those enhancement prisms or exotics that were sitting in the postmaster because, you know, wouldn't want to lose those blue items.
-
I like what they did in D1 where greens stopped dropping and auto dismantled into weapon parts. Why can't they just do that with blues?
