Dead Man's Tale with Subsistence is surprising awesome.
I've been making runs of the Presage mission to get Dead Man's Tale with different rolls and I got one with Subsistence. I thought 'meh', but I tried it out and it's now become my favorite roll with this scout rifle. It also helps that this particular drop of Dead Man's Tale also had an intrinsic good reload roll, so my rate of fire with the gun has soared with either no reloads because of Subsistence or very quick reloads when it doesn't kick in.
Has anyone else gotten a roll with this gun that they weren't initially thrilled with but got won over by when using it?

Haven’t got that roll yet but got one with outlaw that makes the reload not as terrible lol.

Yep, it's probably the best pve perk.

my first drop came with outlaw, and I thought yup that's good stop there, didn't know subsistance was in the pool, that sounds tasty the reload on this weapon is sssooooo slllloooooowwww, without anything to help it still haven't decided if I like this weapon or not

I love Subsistence, it's not popular because people don't like less ammo reserves, but I don't have a problem keeping primary ammo I also got a Subsistence Dead Man's when I completed master, I have already got over 2k kills with it
