Hunter Super is Ass (in PvP)
The knew Revenant subclass for the hunter is very underwhelming. It’s a worse version of blade barrage.
The super leaves you stationary, and vulnerable. It feels like ages to just throw the blades. There’s little opportunity for multi kills in pvp. It’s just so bad.

I would have to disagree. In terms of area denial, no super can beat it. Throw the super at a capture point or a choke point and the enemy is -blam!-ed

8 RepliesLol wut? Are we playing the same game? You get a freeze and an epic persistent aoe attack, 2 ranged melee charges... it's really good. The grenade needs some work/practice for freezing enemies but overall it's amazeballs

I’m a hunter main, and I’ve got to say, it’s maybe the best super I’ve ever used, and I haven’t even gotten to use it to it’s fullest, as I have yet to unlock it’s fully. But what I can gather, it is a FANTASTIC pve super, the shurikens(can’t figure out how to spell it, lol.) are awesome, the tornadoes that follow enemies around, and I LOVE the sound effects. You just have to learn to aim with it. While the super itself probably won’t be viable in pvp, similar to top tree night stalker, it’s other abilities are what makes the subclass viable. The shurakins for example.

But just like Nightstalker you are exchanging a limited super for an amazing neutral game. Slow field grenades, two instant throw knives that freeze, a dodge that slows people around you. It's a pretty good subclass. Unlock some stuff and find out what works for you. And if you still don't like it, there are 3 other subclasses with 3 branches that are calling your name. Revenant's super is literally a "nope, -blam!- you, you don't get to play the game anymore" button. Not only do you get an instant AOE freeze, but you also get a big ass tornado that chases enemies and freezes them repeatedly. It's pretty amazing.

Literally what? Screw PvP, PvE is where it’s at. This super is essentially blade barrage plus tether. Maybe blade barrage has a slight edge when it comes to pure add clear, but you don’t understand how useful the super’s CC is.

It’s not really meant for multi kills like blade barrage. Bungie throughout the past months have advertised stasis as a crowd control type of subclass, so if anything it’s on you for thinking it would be anything like blade barrage.

Big fan of the revenant class. Throwing stars are super fun and the instant mass freeze is super helpful

you have to find something that suits your play style I use to be a hunter main then switched over to titan and let me tell you dunemarchers+ stasis meele is fun

Learn your rotations .... freeze, shoot, melee, shoot, dodge, shoot .. whole lost sector down 🦾 It’s awesome
