Crucible Team Balancing is UNFAIR!
I love playing crucible and facing good players! But currently the crucible as is just isn’t fair, especially for solo players like myself. I have a 2.6 KDA and get matched with terrible teammates that I have to carry the whole match and in the end lose the game due to their incompetence. I always get matched with sweats who destroy my team from the start so I’m left alone facing their whole team getting a few kills in before I get team shot and killed. The current PvP experience in my opinion has made me a little less excited to play as of lately. Besides that I can’t complain much about this game I actually like this game over all other games rn been here since D1. I strongly believe that matchmaking needs to be looked over and tweaked a bit so players don’t get destroyed and lose every game due to unbalanced teams. @Bungie Please don’t forget about your solo players. We might be a small percentage but I wanna feel that we matter too 😭.

1st off, I agree with you, 2nd I'm sorry, I'm 1 of those that suck. I wouldn't be in Crucible if it wasn't for things like catalysts. A lot needs to change!

In control if u have 1-2 players dedicated to getting the zones u will probably win and they will suffer for ur win. They will get farmed cause nobody else will help them capture to protect the zones. Control is a team based game mode for a community that has a “me first” attitude. No fancy drills. Just defeat your opponents

This lopsided team is, in theory, matched against an opposing team of 6 having a skill distribution just like yours. At least that's their theory of what CBMM should be. This way, the good players are fed pens full of sheep, and the streamers can make hundreds of videos showing the world how great they are. I watched a TrueVanguard video last evening, where he moaned and whined about what he claims are aimbot cheaters in Trials, then showed minutes of video where he got domed over and over and over... Well, buddy, that's how it is for average players who play CBMM PvP. TrueVanguard also weighed in on the SB/CB debate, and related a story about someone who took his wife or girlfriend into a 6v6 "social" playlist, where she got steamrolled so badly she just sat in the back of the map the rest of the game and emoted, then left the game... permanently... Then, TG said that he cannot turn off his "gun skill" or "situational awareness" when wading though the innocent sheep (my characterization). The last thing he tried to do is compare CB and SB games using game participation stats and other yawning stuff, trying to support his wish to continue wading through the pleebs (my characterization). He sees this debate as a binary choice... either CB or SB. It's not a binary choice... or at least it doesn't have to be. All I want is one... just a single but permanent 6v6 social game that is strict SB. Just one.... Make every other game option CB. It's unethical to offer matchmaking that produces up to a 10:1 ratio in performance across the 12 players.

And pve is about to lose half its content to make it "easier" on the devs, and they are giving us a recycled cosmodrome? I preordered beyond light. Thinking of canceling it. The last season was ok at least, but a years worth of content before that was just go do specual activity A, and do it again...and again. Really boring. Nothing is balanced, stuff is glitchy, the game takes forever to load activities, im just about over it. "Update" Preorder cancelled, deluxe version. Maybe ill get it on sale after a while if the reviews are good. Not paying premium prices for this.

Crucible isn’t fair at all. - P2P servers make everybody have a different response time. Some players are way off from where they should be. Lag compensation doesn’t help. - Decent match making is too difficult when your team has players from different parts of the world and different skill levels. - One shot no skill weapons (Jotunn, Bastion, Arbalest, Erentil, shotguns) should be fixed to make the game require more skill. Also some abilities are ridiculous in D2. - Respawning is really bad. The amount of times you spawn again in front of the same super that killed you or in front of enemies that are already firing at you is insane and it is driving me nuts.

A freakin men... beginning of season 10 I thought crucible was in a decent place and was happy to play it solo anytime. Iron banner too. Now its almost pointless to play without a stack. Iron banner is basically ruined. Regular crucible is OK.

It’s either I get steamrolled or I join a stack and steamroll, there is no in between. For my mental health I just find an lfg team with no mic and hope for the best.

They use team balancing to force a 50% or so win rate to keep everyone playing. If you look at Destiny Tracker you'll see that you are at a 50.6% win rate. Basically it is working as intended, whether we like it or not. Their top priority is player engagement. Then the "play with a team if you want to win" advice usually comes next I play nearly all solo in QP. There are streaks, but overall it always comes back to right around 50% win rate over time. Redrix is a great app to watch this happen. It shows your last 100 matches. I don't think I've ever been at more than say 58 wins out of the last 100 solo, or below about 42 before the lobby balancing throws me back toward 50-50. It is a bit like a racing game with catch up mechanics.

Secondly you're complaining about having bad teammates when you're solo queuing in a gamemode that allows 6 person fireteams... if you're choosing to enter team activities on your own then you forfeit the right to complain imo and you should deal with the consequences of your actions. Make some friends and team up. Otherwise stop complaining because you've been dumb.

Bungie expects you to carry the torch almost every match while blessing the tryhards and stacked teams with easy mode everything. Tryhards and people who defend the ideals behind stacked teams in QP are scrubs in my opinion. They all have the same elitist mindset of assuming they are skilled but their entire career within Destiny lifestyle is based off of groups of 2+ in any playlist PVP related, Hunters, META loadouts, teamshooting, special weapon abuse, teamrushing or abusing the abilities that grant ease of use. You see it everyday in PVP especially QP because they try their hardest with the easiest things possible and it hilarious. What it is even more hilarious is when you beat them with something they will not use, they either T-bag, write hate mail in both the messages and in the forums because of their frustration within themselves to actually be good.

Exacrly. Like just because you have a good kd doesn't mean you alone can carry the whole team. They really do need to fix team balancing.
