A bunch of wasps showed up on my porch

This isn't a parody. They keep getting into the doorway past the screen door. They were building a nest in the corner. They're apparently immune to Raid, Hot Shot, and Essential Oils. My home is besieged, my family in danger, I've been stung twice. Please tell me what do?

  • Guns are the solution. Pop a cap in their insect asses. This is the United States of America, so the sounds of a gun going off shouldn’t bother your neighbors. After all, they do it too, as it’s required by law. It’s either that or throwing empty beer cans at then and their nest. Or try one of those zap zap hanging things, or traps.

      • A flamethrower should do the trick. It will get rid of the wasps. It will get rid of their nest. It will get rid of your house. It will get rid of your family. Well worth the purchase.

      • Strong smelling peppermint oil. Most insects and animals hate that stuff.

        • Get yourself some Bengal wasp spay. Saw a nest with about 20+ wasps a few weeks ago while I was doing some yard work, and the one can killed them all. Kills on contact btw.

        • Spray them with Axe. Either it kills them, or makes their nest stink so bad they'll leave and never come back.

          • Open door, in your best old man voice yell, " Hey, you filthy wasps, get off of my porch!" All while shaking your fist vigorously in the air. Then say, " Don't you know who I am?"

            • Wd40 kills them. If that doesn't work take a shovel, stick, etc, and wrap the end in paper. Light it on fire and hold it close to the nest. You will burn their wings of and the smoke will make them fall. Then squish.

I’ve never dealt with any wasp or hornet that Raid doesn’t kill. That being said, there’s always the tried and true method of hosing them to death: - Put several layers of clothing on (just in case you botch the next step it’ll at least help mitigate some incoming damage.) - at about 3:00 A.M put a 5gal bucket filled halfway with soapy water under the nest. Do this quietly!!! - Use a garden hose with a focus nozzle (set up the previous day) to knock the nest into the bucket. Immediately cover the bucket with a lid and leave them to die miserable and well-deserved deaths. Notes: If you have access to a pressure washer have that set up instead of a garden hose. Using a 10 degree nozzle works best. Start it up and cut the nest and its inhabitants into ribbons before they attack due to the noise. If at any point during this you feel uncomfortable just run to safety. It doesn’t sound like you’re allergic but there is no reason to endure needless pain. Hope you get it dealt with safely and effectively. Edit: When doing this don’t shine a light on the nest until the moment you attack it. The hornets with which I deal get really aggressive very quickly if lit up. Edit 2: Grammar
Sorry, all out of salt.
