I disagree with your choice in posting topics. In the future you should run any opinion you might have past me before posting on these boards to make sure I’m okay with what you decide to speak about, and you should rigidly follow what I decide is best for you to do. You might believe you have creative control over the content you create but I insist you run all your decisions by me since I have invested so much of my hard-earned free time by allowing you to have me read things you write. To give you the illusion that you have the right to decide what you create you could set up a list of twenty options for me to choose what you should do, which I will either choose an option from or ignore entirely and make something up myself. Weapons capping will be healthy for the game. If that proves to be false, bungie will remove it. At present there is no reason for me to get any new guns.

Poll for storyline? Bad idea.

This is one of those solutions where it looks great on paper but it's horrible in practice. All that's going to do is divide the community up even more. now we're seriously going to blame Carl because Paul didn't get what he want. Let Bungie do what they need to do and we will participate or leave the game.

They did ask the community... ... of streamers. These are their real player base and customers. Not us.

Implement* Sorry that was bothering me. On topic, I’d like to see that but it can’t happen. They can’t make every choice by jury, it’d take too long and honestly (while the community is 10,000% right about sunsetting being dumb) the community would have a Bungie doing the stupidest things.

Bungie doesn’t need a community vote for this. Mainly because there’s no way they could actually poll a fair bit of the community as so few use forums. Even if they did, sunsetting is one of things you won’t vote for until you’ve experienced it. I went though it in taken king and it’s what kept me playing the game for the entire year after launch. I had to get new god rolls, which feels really good after having everything for a year. I expect it to be the same situation in September

Putting one here does not represent the community as a whole. Here's an example- the lie quest had about 1100 upvotes myself included, now how bad this season is look at the daily log in numbers. Hell if these forums controlled the game we would just load into an activity and have the loot auto drop in our inventory.

Perhaps the Chinese publishers they are partnered with are now pulling the strings. Chinese games are infamous for sucking tossing aside anything and everything for the sake of generating cash. It's the kind of schemes Activision wets the bed over at night.

Great idea - but they don't want our Feedback. The only thing they want from us is money. They simply do not care what we think or say - except if we stop giving them money or playing the game how they want. When we stop doing those 2 things, they might actually listen.

Not everyone is on forums to vote in polls. The numbers would probably be way way off from reality.

i play the shit outta osrs, but the main difference is how the game is built. jagex can instantly make changes and updates, because they wanted the game to last ( 15 years now) bungie, well they where eating crayons when they built the game and made it so damm difficult to even fix the simplest -blam!-ing things like, the rally flags not letting you rally.

How about Bungie curate their own game. A credible writer doesn’t ask their fans how they should write their story or a director on how to end a movie. We can provide feedback but Destiny is their vision and it is their job and livelihood to make take it in the direction they see appropriate. Plus, mass voting doesn’t always bring about the best outcomes: Brexit and Trump come to mind as recent ones.
