Gave it another go. Cleared it once w a group of six. 4 were randoms. On the 2nd attempt. This clear is only the 7th time I have cleared the Towers at all and the first time since Bungie ramped up the difficultly level. Still went down to the wire on time. It's still not fun. Oh, and you still get nothing much for the effort. Few warmind bits. Meh. Millions more to go? Everyone left after the clear. Probably because they didn't get the triumph (which has clearly been disabled due to the nerf). Ran it a couple more times with just four then five of us. Didn't come close. It's still bullet spongy horde mode. You still need at least six people. There are still no rewards for this time suck to make it worth grinding for the next how ever many days. This is the best Bungie can do for us? I'll check back at reset to see if the next quest step is up. In the meantime, I've contributed all the time to the Towers that I am going to. If we get the shotgun, we get it, and if we don't, we don't.
