Crimson Doubles pve would be cool.
It could be as simple as beefing up some Heroic Adventures and making it a 2-person activity.
Maybe a doubles strike playlist.
You know... just something for those of us who loathe pvp and don’t have fun with it.
Edit: to clarify, I understand that there are bounties, and that’s cool of Bungie to do that. They listened to years of feedback and introduced a solution.
The point of my post isn’t about getting loot or cosmetics through bounties. It’s about an opportunity to make a unique experience for players during an event. Something that makes the event worth participating in. Strikes with unique modifiers would be fun for me. Some type of defense or survival horde mode with Doubles modifiers would be fun, especially in such a limited time.

They did had a triumph "two can tango" in the past and that was to complete a NF with just 2 in the fireteam. So maybe it'll happen again.

1 ReplyI'd play a crimson doubles strike playlist. This is a good idea regardless of whether you like PvP or not strikes could use some kind of attention, whatever that may be.

It's a nice idea, maybe they could utilize the infinite forest again like they did for... whatever the event was for the horror story auto rifle.

Crimson Doubles is a one week long PvP event. Every other event is arguably focused on PvE already.

I like crimson ghost shell from D1. I wish it had it on D2. Oh well, I will get different one.

2 RepliesNot everything needs to have pvp and pve. That's double the work for a free event that's free to everyone. If you hate pvp that much then sorry Crimson Doubles isn't for you.

There should be a forever alone version too. For people who are always alone on the 14th and hate the “holiday” with the burning passion of a thousand suns. It would task you with wrecking a bunch of themed merch and deco as well as kill some miniboss versions of couples. (Crota and omnigul for instance) DEATH TO VDAY!

I think there should be a “Doubles Solo the Dungeon” triumph, in which two people enter but only one gets to kill the Boss. The two guardians get to slaughter one another along the way. It would thus appeal to both PvE and PvP players. The ensuing triumph could be called “No One Gets Out of Here Alive” ... You could even have a “flawless” version, in which if achieved the flawless guardian gets a triumph titled “T-Bagger” and the other player also gets a triumph titled “T-bagged” or, alternatively, “Nerfed.”

That's too smart for here, it makes more sense to shoot each other for Valentine's day. Working together to take out the threats to all humanity just doesn't make sense.
