The African-American thing was the black community trying to find their own way of identifying themselves in America. Folks need to understand, you are in America, you are an American, unless you hold dual citizenship or are here temporarily. If you are trying to become a citizen, then you are an American. Folks start addressing each other as such, then maybe we can start moving beyond skin tone or religious affiliations.

I'm in a very Jewish area of London today, everyone walking the streets is a Jew in their gowns and big hats and curly hair sticking down. Even the kids ☺️ Always makes me giggle a little 😆

Jewish nationality = Israeli?

Judaism is a religion - not a nationality or a race. Having said that most Jews do have a common genetic ancestry tracing back to the middle east. Most Jews don’t look middle eastern though - this is due to the Jewish diaspora. Jews spread throughout Europe after the fall of ancient Israel. Their original middle eastern ancestry has slowly blended with people of European ancestry over the centuries. So there’s probably not really a Jewish race anymore. Re-established after WW2. However you don’t need to be Jewish to be an Israeli. Just ask the 17% of the population that are Muslim.
