warlocks shafted again
warlocks have been fed the shit end of the stick for years. as a consequence warlocks have had to compensate in that regard. if bungie were to actually make something on use good we would learn to abuse it in a heartbeat cause they have trained us to do so. bungie probably realizes this and is actually fearful of what we might do if we actually got good melee speed or something actually worth while.
its funny how every class got something good but bungie decided it would be best to nerf bottom tree dawn to make top tree apprear as less lack luster, while hunters got improvements too 2 different trees! why is this fair in any capacity? bottom tree dawn the only thing good about it was the super it had 0 neutral game. phoenix dive literally holds you up in air for a full second before dropping you why not change that to something cool while tweaking around top tree dawn? now bottom tree has no movement it all ready had no neutral game and to top it all off top tree dawn isnt even going to be that good! only a small buff to in air accuracy? why not on grenade charge allow us to get rid of it, on top of that theres no cover for us in air so we're sitting ducks, the only good thing about this "buff" is a fancy no melee ability that no one asked for and icarus.
im tired of your shit bungie, the warlock rebellion is upon you if you dont start wising the -blam!- up....

Ok, so you state that warlocks have been treated like shit for years. Saying that to not back it up with facts to try and mislead people. I know since i've been on destiny since launch. Warlocks got hardly touched over the years. Hell the only thing that was playable in trials and raids in d1 after taken king was warlocks with self rez. Maybe a hunter or 2 with tether to do stuff. But you guys never hardly got touched. Hunters got the shit end most of the time. Even recently, your dawnblade support class was the only way to do certain activities like reckoning or raids.

13 RepliesBungie has had a hard on for warlocks since D1. They have some of the best abilities and exotic armors. Also just about every time they do nerf a warlock ability they usually end up unerffing it later when everyone complains. IE nova warp.

I don't want to say that warlock too weak, but lets a look: 1) We have no OP exotics, no one. And no, CH isn't OP exotic. 2) Our class ability (rifts) have a longest cowldown of all class abilities in the game. No one use damage rifts in PvP, healing rift have very long animation cast, very situational skill, you can't use it anytime you should to find save place. Healing it too slow, you should stay on a spot - it's a problem, anyone can easy to rush you with grenades for example. 3) Slowest melee attack 4) Worst ults. 5) Bungie to buff hunters and titans, we no buffs for warlocks. Why? 6) Bungie, you turned Nova Warp in a shit after 2 weeks from Forsaken... but the same time totally broken Spectral Blades you nerfed after a 6 months. Are you kidding? You will nerf OEM the 3rd time!! 3rd! And after 2nd it still OP. From patch to patch you always buff titans and hunters. It seems that you don't understand how works skill of all your classes. Warlocks - meme class now, hunters are good, coz they are killing machine for PvP right now and last 1,5 years with titans. Why are you so hare warlocks? Just look stats of popularity and Win Rate of classes! Hunters and Titans on the top! It's time to reworked warlocks totally! What are you waiting for?

2 RepliesIf they cared at all about Warlocks, they'd have fixed these issues by now. It's like they designed the Warlock class for PvE only, and just want to give Hunters and Titans floating bodies to shoot at in PvP.

4 RepliesWarlocks complaining again. They're still the most played class in the game and by far the strongest PvE class. Also they are good in crucible, maybe not quite as good overall as certain Hunter and Titan subclasses, but the difference isn't nearly as big as some people make it out to be. I mean handheld supernova + contraverse is most OP ability in the game in crucible.

We should temper our expectations cause we ain’t getting sh*t for the foreseeable future, maybe we’ll get another useless exotic like apotheosis veil or stormbracers dance or whatever the f*ck it’s called.... that’ll totally spice it up.

People like me get very irritated when average/low players act like they know what's balanced and what is not. Warlock has always been a top tier pick. Especially Dawnblade. HOWEVER, it has a much higher skill gap then let's say some hunter abilities. Something you most likely haven't achieved. Trust me when I say that Warlock is in a great spot if you actually learn how to use the class. Even more after Tuesday and when OEM gets toned down. Like really. I'm going to throat punch the next person who goes "Hurrr durrr. "X" class is OP. Why can't MY class do that? "X" class get's a freebie compared to MY class." Get over yourselves. If you truly master your class you will find that each class is just as balanced as the other.

Funny thing is I main warlock and I fully stand by that warlocks are the most consistently balanced class. I would say that yes the solar supers need a bit of help to be a bit better but overall they are balanced. Handheld supernova is basically the same thing as shoulder charge. Throwing knives will soon one shot headshot. Just leave warlocks alone after the balancing of the solar supers. It is currently so close to being perfectly balanced.

As long as they dont nerf Top Tree Stormbro for the crime of being the only Warlock subclass worth a damn in PvP (sorry but arcweb > handheld, plus the supers better, and Crown makes the whole class even stronger).

The 'slow animation' build up to the Hunter's OHK turns out to be damn quick. So it's over. The most overused, most broken PvP class in the entire game just got more buffs. What was needed was rapid back pedalling and acknowledgement things have got out of hand. Instead it's foot-to-the-floor. It's over. Oh but we Warlock mains will be able to float more, lose our grenade even more, and don't forget we're apparently clearly going to GLOW like a beacon - you know in case something stuck in the middle of the air out any cover wasn't quite a target enough. Good job Bungie - let's hear it for HUNTERS again.

2 RepliesI agree with you and anyone who don't is because they main a Titan or a Hunter and they probably have 2 of the same character and 1 of another more specifically not a Warlock. I main a Warlock have done so since D1 day 1. And ever since Bungie has Crapped on the Warlock class. Yes we had Nova Warp for a short but the cry babies made it get nerfed. Then we had Well of Radiance, then we had Nova Bomb, lastly we had the bottom tree Dawn Blade. Which I might add all of which were ripped a new one again because of the cry babies. Titans have Thundercrash, Hunters now have basically an endless supply of Throwing knives especially with Shards. Let's not forget Titans have that way to O.P. one hit melee. Shall I go on? I will be a part of the Warlock movement. I am tired of Warlocks getting Crapped on

I don’t know if they fear a more balanced fight or if they have another problem. The warlocks melee alone is just one example. And bungie doesn’t seem to give a shit about the Warlock either. Pve wise nothing to complain there.
