If you’re first to load you’ll have to wait for the others. It happens every time.

No idea. From what I've seen load times are still the same though, you just fly in faster and the black screen takes up the time.

Its when other people are still loading into the activity. Found out playing side by side with my brother. My screen stayed black before a crucible match until he flew in. Its so everyone starts at the same time

That's the rev limiter on the game engine telling your console or PC to lay off the throttle. That thing's running at redline all the time!

Happened to me today was a black screen before the iron banner match started plus you hear guns firing when the screen still black. Plus contacting servers are happening again games busted.

Apparently your Console/PC is loading faster than everyone elses so youre already loaded and theres no other thing to have in its place besides a Black Screen..

1 ReplyBecause you are waiting for others. I am playing on xbox one x, my girfriend is playing on S. I got black screen because my game is already loaded, but she is still loading. Once both console loaded, game start. Not every activity do this. Like forge I loaded way before her.

3 RepliesWhen multiple people are in there menus when loading. It makes loading take alot longer. Also inspecting your teammates loadouts makes loading take longer.

2 Repliesi've noticed Vex Offensive is REALLY bad. last night i thought the game had frozen up. black screen was +30 seconds. then i load in and am able to go all the way to the stairs (where the first chest appears) before anyone else spawns in.

1 ReplyI’ve been getting the black screen since before ShadowKeep. It happened after I got a SSD that I’ve been using on my Xbox One X. I figured it was because not everyone is using an SSD so their game is taking longer to load. When I’m playing solo the load times are like half what they used to be.
