It’s not really a fair equivalent when both fortnite and apex are free to play and are just battle royals.

Why? D2 has leaps and bounds more content than the games I mentioned. That's why you pay for the DLC. Paid cosmetics are paid cosmetics and Bungie doesn't charge any more than other game makers for them.

Well if you’re disregarding equivalents look at monster hunter world, it got free significant updates for a year, all layered armour was earned in game and the MTX were far cheaper than D2. Eververse is overpriced in comparison to that

That's a fair point. I haven't played MHW so can't comment. Would it be nice if things were cheaper? Absolutely, I'm all for it. But my point is that it's not any worse than Epic Games coming out with a new $20 Fornite skin every day. I guess all I'm trying to say is it's not fair to rip Bungie for charging market value. Instead, we should rip them for things like screwing up the Iznagis Quest week after week!!! I still don't have mine :(.
