Ya while making masterworking 1 piece of armor from rank 5 to 10 cost more materials, including: - 163 masterwork cores - 450 planetary materials - 190,000 glimmer Again, this is just for 1 piece of armour (not a set) from rank 5 to 10 (not 0 to 10; that’s even higher). This is the type of moronic company you are dealing with. Remember that fanboys. Now go grind and pay up. That’s all you’re good for, sheep.

    • these forums will remain salty for the foreseeable future unfortunately. No debate just X is bad hit me with those up votes. It is the new way many people on here play the game now. Read a post then knee jerk react to any comments. Many will be power level 960 by the end of today in forum posting terms.

      • If anyone is annoyed about the extended grind that has been added to the game, you knew this was coming. I mean it was more the obvious knowing Bungie wasn't actually adding loot to chase and Tess inventory is always full of cosmetics. For those that say "you don't have to buy"? everyone knows this. The problem is, this game has triple the useless cosmetics vs actual loot.

        • With the amount of cores it takes to upgrade a single piece of 2.0 armor... I am convinced that Bungie never wants us to have a chance to fully enjoy playing their game. Some people will never have a full set of 2.0 masterworked armor... Why would Bungie do this? I thought the point was to give us options... let us interchange mods to try new things? How in the hell are we supposed to do that when we can't even upgrade the damn 2.0 armor in a reasonable amount of time? Pure BS. BS 2.0.

        • Doesn't matter. They just replaced it with more filler bullshit that didn't need to be there.

Actually, no they did not. Buying an upgrade module from Banshee, still costs 1 core plus the original shard, glimmer, and planet mat costs. This is slight-of-hand by Bungie. Saying they're removing the infusion cost by replacing it with another (unwanted) material that has a slightly lower conversion cost. While, additionally, raising the cost to masterwork the new armor. Unless you want to farm 10 of the highest level nightfalls, because you can only hold 10 Ascendant Shards and 25 Enhancement Prisms. And each one of them costs several cores to purchase from Banshee. Bungie sure did learn from their mistakes with cores. They learned how to lie about it better. Do the math Don't be sheep Thanks for your time EDIT: Sorry, I messed up. You cap at 25 upgrade modules, 50 Enhancement Prisms, and 10 Ascendant Shards. To help new players. Riiiiiiiight.

          • SpookSlayer You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

            • Replacing cores with a different material that is just as rare isn't fixing the problem. This issue arises every time they increase the power cap because players don't like to look like crap while leveling up and they also don't like to waste mats.

            • Not really...You still have to spend cores on the item you use to upgrade.

            • LOL. They made infusion even worse. It costs infusion cores to buy the modules, so there you go.

              • Lol and added an item for three different materials to infuse, though purchasable via gunsmith. So to be honest, it’s actually a bit worse

              • They didn’t remove them, you just now have to have them to get another upgrade material, again they’re adding more to the economy, they could’ve just completely remove them

there salty because they added another unwanted thing. all they asked for was cores out of infusion like D1 only costing glimmer and shards. now you need cores to buy modules that are infusion cost but yes damien is right the cores were just moved to buying the modules so technically its still the same just a bit worse. and like before the modules cannot be farmed by playing casually.

                • With forge farming being a thing for 9 months, and how easy it is to get modules now...noone besides new light players have anything to complain about. But alas...the children of Destiny will cry and scream until they're given the option to have a maxed out set of perfect rolled gear just for logging in.

                  • Satire right? You have played it and seen what that infusion box costs from Gunsmith, a core, materials and glimmer. No change really but MW armour is gonna cost you well inexcess of 100 cores for just one piece, no thanks that's just ridiculous

                  • The over bloated infusion system, perks and armor leveling actually bored me so badly that I turned off the game. Just so bad. Way over done, too much investment for a video game.

Errr no they didn’t. Now you have to buy upgrade modules with cores to be able to infuse. They just added another layer to the problem! Why would you think they’ve removed them? 😆

                      • The new system is way better honestly. 1 core and then stuff that doesn't even matter because Im constantly getting it and have so much. But even then its a price so Im not gonna infuse all willy nilly. Good change Bungie!

                      • It's easy to infuse . . actually easier than before. Yeah it may take a mix of a few more items to buy the module, but it's easier. Hahaha careful what you all wished for, right? But seriously folks . . .its easier.

                        • #Destiny2 are a bunch of crybabies. They made it cheaper, and not only that, but they made it so you can save space in your inventory, because I'll be damned if I stop hoarding everything. It's cheaper and easier to do, but since it still costs something I won't be doing it whenever I please, because at the end of the day that sorta thing is min maxing, stuff you're doing when you're swimming in mats.
