Vote this up to raise awareness if you are locked out of your main due to silver purchasing - HUGE PROBLEM BUNGIE -

I would really like to bring attention to bungie and make it loud and clear how many people have gotten screwed over with the unclear memo (that I don’t believe exists) about not being able to deactivate cross play with recent silver purchased. I’m seeing everything up to 90 freakin days of people not being able to get back into their main account. We were just trying to check out our old characters from other platforms and then switch back. Maybe stupid to do so, but who cares. It’s our accounts. This lock out Is unfair and crushing. We spent money on the game just to have our account on lock?? What kind of BS is that? We won’t be able to access our paid shadowkeeps until long after. Keep up with the game on our main accounts. Finish our content for the year. We will miss Events. This is horrible. I will walk away from the game if this isn’t noticed and action isn’t taken. Please vote up if you’re a similar player going through the struggles I am with my account! Keep in mind Bungie, most if not all these people will be asking for refunds on shadowkeep! Not being able to play it on their main accounts for 3 months! Insanity. You should have disclosed this information better or at least in your FAQ!!!!

                It's by design. There's no way Bungie didn't see this coming. It's typical behavior for them to screw over their customers. They're corrupt as heck, man. I'm sorry this happened to you. It's completely unfair. Foul play on their part.

                • Yeah this is honestly unacceptable. Its crazy that there was no warning whatsoever about this. I'm right there with the rest of you. If this doesnt get fixed soon, im done with this game. That sucks to say because i love this game so much but honestly i cannot just look past this.

                      Now my son is locked out of his xbox character cause I cannot unlink it for over 2 months all because I made a mistake and decided to support the game. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. There was no warning that I would not be able to unlink till afterwards. I WILL NOT BE BUYING SHOWDOWKEEP and recommend everyone do the same till they fix this cluster F . This is completely wrong . I don't even have a silver balance anymore. Let me unlink so my son can play with his friends ! So unfair! I AM DONE WITH THIS GAME.

                        Looks like Bungies solution to the problem is to sneak this into the cross save FAQ. Looks like those of us affected are SOL. Shame I was really looking forward to Shadowkeep but now the game is just gonna be completely removed from my system. Time to get this news onto gaming sites to help prevent the spread of this issue since bungie wont do it properly. What actions can limit my use of Cross Save? The following actions will impact a player’s ability to enable or disable Cross Save: - Players who disable Cross Save cannot re-enable Cross Save until 90 days after it was disabled - [b]Players who purchase Silver cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased[/b] - Players who perform a refund for purchased Silver cannot activate Cross Save until that Silver is re-purchased for that account - Players subject to a ban or restriction cannot activate Cross Save, or disable Cross Save if already active, until that ban or restriction has expired
