Cool trailer.
They keep putting these finishing moves on the forefront so I hope they don't end up a purely cash-shop related item. They've been on the forefront a lot so doubt they will be entirely Eververse related.
inb4 someone saying "It's Bungie, of course they'll lock it behind Eververse."

Edited by PilksUK: 8/20/2019 10:21:30 AMDont need shadowkeep for finisher moves or armor 2.0 (these are free updates) to get access to the Artifact you just need to buy Season of the Undying, shadowkeep actually seems be just story missions, 1 strike and a new 3 person activity some exotics and a few new adventures the moon coming back just makes it seem bigger... The two exotics we have seen that I care about (monte carlo, titan boots) are part of season of the undying... so looks like I might aswell spend $10 on that instead of $35 on shadowkeep. Also the animations for finishers will be sold in the cashshop they said that a few times you get a default animation for free they work just like emotes, the cashshop is getting a big focus going forward from October if you go read their post on bright dust changes it clearly shows they are going to control how much a player can earn for free then go read Luke Smiths posts where he talks about moving the cashshop to make it accessible all the time think f2p game but you pay for content.

Finisher moves will be sold for ever at Eververse.

It's Bungie, of course they'll lock it behind Eververse.

From what i understand we will get a base finisher(the titan punch for example) at launch for each character free but if you want a new animation like the spin kick then thats from eververse.

$30 for Shadowkeep an hours worth of content mostly recycled and an entire new pay front at Tess. I am waiting before I feel like I have wasted even more money. Sadly I was a little excited till the past few days worth of reveals. I feel like it is going to be another mostly Eververse based DLC. I hope I am wrong but it just looks like it so far.

I don’t know where you’re getting one hour from, considering this is a TTK, RoI, and forsaken size expansion. The story alone in those took more than an hour.

I am going by what I am seeing not what Bungie is saying and showing. Bungie have lied to us FAR too many times and they are great at making little things look huge. It has happened even in D2 itself FAR too many times. Once I actually see the content and know it is more than I see and expect I will take it back but I fully expect something of descent size then the rest of the year basically add up to a some new crucible maps and maybe a strike or two so basically 3-4 activities to do but at the same time they are talking about removing things that we have paid for and will be paying for which will take away also.

Something cool like that I don’t mind dropping $5-$6 bucks. As long as they keep pumping out cool things I’ll support it

The actual animation changes I believe will be in eververse, but modifiers are purely out of gameplay.
