One of the best looking armor pieces has one of the worst exotic effects and it is a shame. The only time I have ever seen the death rift used was to heal myself during a bad respawn in a private match, the only time I have used the rift energy when wounded was getting an empowering rift back fast for sturm 1 shots. My idea to rework the stag is to fully recharge rift ability when wounded, restore a portion of health on rift placement, increase rift radius by 50%, increase rift potency by 25%. This would keep the exotic's identity of near death rewards in tact and help boost its rift enhancing powers.
