Am I the only person that Does NOT like Season of Opulance?
Seems like everyone is enjoying this season..
I dont get it.
There's 1 activity and the raid LAIR. Thats it. Well, and a quest for Truth which I couldn't care less about.
The raid lair and the manajawhatever are so dim and dull. The asthetics just dont do it for me.
There are no secrets like with Black Armory.
Everything is a reskin.
Idk man, it seems as bare bones as it could get. I really hope that there is a dungeon of some kind. Maybe the quest for Lumina will have something interesting.

And Bungie didn’t even do The Menagerie. Vicarious Visions did, and they’ve left the franchise. Shadowkeep will be trash as a result.

Waiting for more info on shadowkeep before purchasing,if it's more of the same then may have to pass(we go back to the moon) hmmmm been there did that.Fight the same bosses we did in d1?You can only play the same content for so long before you get burned out,imo.

It’s INFINITELY better than last season, and I like Menagerie better than the forges. None of the annual pass content has been amazing though, in my opinion. Just time killers until we get some new story and I can hopefully finally feel like a guardian again instead of an errand boy.

Seems about as big as any of the other two Annual Pass drops were at this point. Only secrets I really recall at week 3 in BA was the symbols in Volundr for emblems and a box we couldn’t open for like months

1 ReplyMenagerie is quite the improvement for grinding in this game, it’s not just more player friendly with picking your rewards, it’s fun and replayable. There’s enough possible encounters that keep it from being stale, and the new bosses every week enforce that. The new raid, is pretty cool for a lore concept and gameplay concept. One of those, easy to pick up, tough to master raids. The quality of both of these is pretty good. Astrocyte verse isn’t a d1 reskin, it puts blink to a level it hasn’t seen since D1 Y2. While khepri’s sting is pretty ass, there’s still a lotta enjoyable content here. People enjoy this season because it’s showing that Destiny’s grind has learned quite a bit from it’s D1 launch, the grind is better/more player friendly, and fun. Weapons feel good, other than LoW PvP actually feels pretty good to me right now. I just want some new maps, and some updates to current ones.

Menagerie is decent, but I despise the weapons available from it. The raid is okay, but just...
