The nerfs coming to lunas howl and not forgotten are stupid and useless. Push away your pvp community even further bungie.
Bungie is nerfing lunas howl and not forgotten. The BEST pinnacle weapons. I have put 400+hours in comp to get this and in return for the hard work i get a fat nerf to this weapon. They do playtesting fir a reason before dropping stuff like why bungie. Alot of your playerbase will be very unhappy at this nerf.

I destroyed 3 weeks of my life with a 10 hour daily grind, got literal nightmares from that grind, completely done with life just to get 1 stupid weapon to be able to use in the Trials of Osiris.... and now you want to tell me this grind was for the ass because "not forgotten" is basically useless? I'm leaving the game...Funny fact.... I haven't even used the weapon in pvp yet... guess will never do

I was going to try and get it cause it’s one of the best guns in the game. Pointless now. I’ll still get it for the achievement though. Or at least try, lol.

They needed a nerf because of console, but the nerf they got was too much. They are hardly pinnacle weapons anymore, other 150s kill in the same number of shots so the only thing setting every other 150 apart from not forgotten is a recoil pattern. Hundreds of hours grinding comp.. for a recoil pattern. And I guess the ability to 2 head 1 body, but that only applies to bad players who cant hit 3 headshots in a row. Hit 3 headshots with dire promise and 3 headshots with nerfed not forgotten and the same outcome will happen in the same amount of time. Makes no sense.

1 ReplyStar Wars Battlefront 2 had a huge Anakin problem. He was insanely OP (still os even after his “nerf”) Luna’s and NF are literally Destiny’s version of Anakin. It’s ridiculous. Close range to mid range combat is ruined when trying to fight Luna’s/NF.

They obviously didn't do playtesting to see in advance how cancer the gun has been for the Crucible as a whole on console. On PC tho, it should indeed be untouched since nobody even uses it there anyway xd

I love these posts because people actually believe they are so called "pushing their pvp community away" yet literally everyone even myself who has lunas and is close to nf want this nerf, in other words the pvp community isn't just the no life try hards it's also the casual players who play for fun

The grind for the two guns is why I don't try for them lols. If the Crucible was like it was in D1 I might actually care about the two guns. Instead it is like this... Hey I'm going to follow these three or five guys and kill one person rinse and repeat but I don't care how bad I P!$$ off the person I target for killing over and over even if they might have High Blood Pressure. That's why I've not played Crucible at all this season and why I'll never play it again until they fix the trash TTK. And yes D2 TTK is trash compared to the Gold TTK in D1🤣

14 RepliesLol the nerfs are useless? No they have a use, it's to balance the game and try to get the sandbox out of the ditch it's been in for 8 months. You people complaining about changes to 2 of the best weapons in the game complain more and louder than anyone you call out for complaining. You want the game to remain stale, there's no way around it. It is a fact that by not wanting changes to these blatantly overused and in the case of NF especially OP weapons, you wish for the game to remain in the current state. You want sweaty games every game for everyone because you have a busted weapon. You don't want change but call anyone else with a complaint "crybabies". This entire situation is ironic as hell. It's quite funny how biased you all are without realising it. The game is dying, the current meta is the cause, these weapons will still be among the best in the game. Stop complaining. Get over it.
