I live in a very rural area and I have satellite internet, which is very bad. I average around 700 ping. The lag affects me as much as it affects the people I’m playing against (about half of my shots don’t register and I also get killed behind walls) I played a few games of competitive trying to help a friend get Luna’s Howl, and I played quick play afterwards with him. I got on today to play Gambit Prime with him and I got a message telling me I was banned from Gambit and Crucible for 2 months. I just want to be unbanned if it’s possible. If I am unbanned I guess I’ll try to play those modes less so that other people won’t have to deal with the lag. I would just like to be unbanned. The video attached is old, but that basically sums up what happens on my end.
I guess I’ll try to play those modes less so that other people won’t have to deal with the lag.
You have had a 2 week and now a 2 month restriction, if you cannot keep a stable, lag free connection, stay out of anything pvp. If you cannot, bungie will eventually make it a permanent restriction.
