It’s unkillable. Why doesn’t a headshot kill with one of the hardest hitting snipers not kill it? Getting a headshot with a sniper on a spectral blades is hard enough, but why doesn’t it 1 shot kill? The damage resistance buff they get from being invisible is practically unstoppable. I’m hitting single digit numbers from chattering bone in one bullet. Why do they get higher damage resistance while invisible than let’s say hammer of sol? The invisibility and no radar is already hard to track and the only thing spectral blades needed was a hit registration buff. And with these small maps it’s practically unkillable and easy to get spawn trapped on any map from it. If you’re gonna do anything at least nerf the damage resistance it gets it’s already invisible it shouldn’t have higher damage resistance than hammers or stormcaller

Apart from other points everyone has said (I mained Wraith since it came out and sat with the meme of super through its dark times), I think its fine. Nearly all titan supers give instant health regen to them. If they dont, stick on OEM and jobs done. Your unkillable. Warlocks have rift. Thats enough. Think DB has regen too? Also Devour ect

2 RepliesSniper headshots don’t kill any super in the game.

18 RepliesAs someone who mained Spectral Blades at the start of Forsaken, I can say it needed a buff. That being said, it got over buffed. Tone down the dmg resistance a bit and maybe decrease the duration by a few seconds. I just don’t believe that bungo actually tests out their buffs/nerfs.

did u try using it before the buff? its hit registration went on autopilot and it didnt have ang resilience. add to that it was very short cuz each slice and going invisible took up so much energy. now it's a strong and scary super like a super should be.
-
It is the most Tanky super, longer lasting and have wall hacks + invis. It is the inly super in the game that tank a Whisper headshot. It’s unkillable.
-
Are you sure I figured if the hit registration was trash you extend the duration and give it the most in super armour. Can't wait for them to do the same for sentinel it's only been 500ish days so it bound to happen right?

1 ReplyIt absolutely did. So shhhhhhh

4 RepliesAll supers are ridiculous. They all need a decrease to damage resistance
-
Well, it's still absolutely useless in PvE so.....

14 RepliesBecause Bungie shows favoritism to the Hunters. Warlocks and titans are left to drift in the wind

4 RepliesAt no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul

65 RepliesYou can litterally kill it with 2 shotgun shots from EP shotty. You just need to git gud and stop whining. Everyone whining spectral can tank lots of bullets when sentinel can block ALL damage. You people are so pathetic.

All spectral blades needed was a fix on the hit registration. That was absolute ass prior to the buff. I am not certain why Bungie thought the super needed the dmg resist buff, but I am fairly certain that will go away relatively soon. ~ A Hunter Main

Agreed. It's about to be the most overpowered super in the crucible after Nova Warp gets nerfed. Hunters will be back on top. Guess it's time to grind out my gwisin vest....

2 RepliesSnipers are getting some tuning some time in January, one of the tunings being the highest impact snipers able to one show low-resistance supers. Also, low impact, high ROF snipers will be able to two shot to the body.
-
I takes freaking 3 goldie shots from 6 shotter to kill it. Just make resistance the same across all supers except GG
-
Fun a faster sniper and pump two into them. As long as one is a headshot, it works

You’re treating the damage resistance from invisibility like the damage resistance you get from the invisibility damage resistance + Full Masterwork Armour. Either way Bungie should just get rid of the invisibility damage resistance and replace it with an exponential speed increase while invisible. Hunters are supposed to be swift, so it fits the class better than increased damage resistance.
The invisibility and no radar is already hard to track
I’m sorry but what? Wraith mode is literally the most visible invisibility in Destiny history and that’s saying something since invisibility in Destiny has always been ridiculously easy to see. It’s purple and black with a trail of shadows behind it.

You’re right. It needed more buff
