Are guaranteed to get matched with me. Players that run the proper subclass don't know how to use it.
Oh look we have a warlock with arc abilities, he must be using chaos reach...nvm he's tickle me storm caller.
Oh look we have a chaos reach warlock...saves super for all 3 waves then uses it on shielded boss....
Oh look we have a warlock, hopefully he has well or chaos reach...saves dawnblade super for boss phase...
Oh look we have hunter, hopefully he has tether or arc strider with raiden flux...never even saw super because we never made it past wave 2 and they were saving it for boss

the guys I just played with were running 2 shotguns and a grenade launcher they were the absolute worst team I've been matched with and afterward one sent me a message and said you such trash delete the game. Me trash? I asked then added I have 20+ clears have all 3 weapons you? He said we would have had our first if you weren't trash. The end

Edited by Jonnnys: 12/9/2018 3:13:32 AMI like to use a sub, auto and linear fusion, I use sentinel but only use it as ward of dawn. I throw the orbs over the edge because I like to see how far I can throw it. Don’t like what others use then make your own team.

1 ReplyEdited by kidbestcode: 12/8/2018 10:53:00 PMI dont understand all the complaints about supers in the forums, you literally dont need any super at all until the boss phase where a well is useful. Melting point is a plus. Though in gofannon id rather have a chaos reach than well because of the teleports. The forges are easy with the right power level, people will complain about it once we'll all be 650. Cant do it rn? Just grind some more before going in or use lfg to have a good dps strat
-
ur already on bungie u could lfg
-
I RUN BANNER SHIELD WITH URSA WE GET A DAMAGE BUFF AND PROTECTION FROM THE ADDS. STAND LEFT ON ENTRANCE BY CAVE NOTHING CAN TOUCH US.
-
1 ReplyLove when I tether an area and my blueberries proceed to kill the ads 2 feet before they’ll get tethered. If they wait 3 more seconds, I’ll tether over and over allowing us to chain supers...
-
Great, now I've GOTTA run siegebreaker in the forges. If people don't like it, more the reason to run it.

9 RepliesSooooo, you don't want me to run thundercrash, overshoot the target and fall of the map? Because I can. I'm here to help.
-
2 RepliesTL;DR : Stop playing the way you want and instead play how I tell you.
-
Tether, well and hammers/melt point all you need
-
for a moment there I thought this was going to be a shit on the Titans Day. but then,... RELIEF
-
Just what we need another no it all.
-
Matchmaking is pretty fun for me. Just pop well in the caves with Phoenix protocol and carry on as a one man army. I think as long as people see a well, they kinda know where you want them to go, with or without communication
-
i use blades barrage
-
Once people learn what to do , everthing will be fine. New strikes are the same way. A bit clumsy at first and then better and better.
-
You didn't mention titans bub. Also arcstrider for hunters if used correctly you can pull a super every wave I have done this. An i say chaos reach only because there's only so much you can do with range weapons when being shot at and flinched to no end because everything is shooting you.
-
bottom tree striker with sythoceps for pve stuff like gambit is my bae. Ill be doing using that in the forge
-
I was using blade barrage it's great for add clearing and getting my super back with shards of galanor so I just spam it when I can better to crest bunch of orbs for everyone. I tried tether but enemy's are way to spread apart half the time

1 ReplyOh look - some random on the forums trying to tell people how to play the game.
-
As a Warlock, I can positively affirm that with the exception of top tree Dawnblade, there is no poor choice when it comes to subclass selection for activities like the forge. The forge requires a mix of both DPS and Crowd Control. Most of the subclasses excel at one or the other, with a few doing a mix of both. Those that do a mix don't excel, but the versatility is still a plus as you aren't tied to a specific roll. The Attunements of Grace and a few others also provide team support. So it's less about picking the right subclass and instead about using that subclass effectively.
-
2 RepliesThis is the issue with this mode. People believe they have to utilize a specific set of classes, weapons, and exotics not to mention play style to accomplish this mission. That's not how this game is meant to be played. For everyone person who thinks a subclass or exotic is useless someone else can make it shine. That's why they exist, don't try and demand that other players suit your preferred method of playing. People have the right to figure out what works well for them and if your playing with random people that has to be taken I to consideration, all part of the game.

This is end game matchmaking. This is also why the first forge should have been 590 to 610. For no other reason than, Bungie is releasing new content, people are going to try it. It boosts playtime though. Every unsuccessful run is another match you have to play to complete it.
-
Oh look an elitists..... big surprise
-
The mobs in the open-world forge should be like 615 - 625. Get past them and you can queue in
-
4 RepliesWhat I hate is when you're 610+ and you keep getting matched with players in the low 600's, like I can carry you! The second thing I hate is when I got to the lfg to find a better fireteam and I'll get in the fireteam, yet the invite never comes! It's called you have to be in orbit to invite players and I'm in orbit waiting for 10 minutes for the invite! Be in orbit and invite all the players to the fireteam! It's so simple!
