BA is splitting player base
Hardcore no life players will hate on this but the first forge is unplayable for the 90% of players who work during real life to buy your update/dlc/whatever it is. I spend 2 hours about 6 tries to get the quest done n guess what? Still not done. Being a solo player trying this is bs. Iv done my powerful dailys/weeklys n only gains 3 light. Seriously. If i paid for this i want to play it period. I paid for something i cant touch for another 2 weeks.

"being a solo player" here is your problem, your playing a massive multiplayer online game (mmo) solo. Find a decent clan with team mates you can rely on & coordinate with through voice chat

3 RepliesI see this complaint a lot and it's kind of a dumb argument. Waaah I can't play this part of the game yet. Wahhhhh. Let me explain something to you so even a 3 year old could understand. Every game is like this. When you go out and buy a single player RPG that has a 50-100 hour long story do you see ppl whine and complain and bitch they can't get to lvl 100 and fight the final boss on day one????? Nooooooooo you don't. BECAUSE THATS HOW GAMES ARE! You have to play them, you have to spend time and lvl up and work towards the end. Destiny is no different they just make you grind and grind and grind because there is an almost non existent story. Op needs to stop whining about this very simple and basic concept. To many babies out there that have gotten used to instant gratification and have zero patience. If it takes you 2 or 3 or 7 weeks before you can fully experience something because your charater isn't strong enough yet, guess what? That's just how things are for you. Tons of other players can finish it on day 1 or 2 because they play the game for 15 hours a day. The world does not bow down to you and your time schedual and your personal life.

This is bulshit. If it does something - it makes people do stuff in the world so it's unieting (if thats a word) the playerbase. I have helped so many people do both forges so many times. You have 3 frames to finish all 3 of them are making you do stuff in the world - kill fallen, kill challenging enemies and so on. I havent seen so many people do Blind Well and Escalation Protocol since never. Rare bounties that drop are making you do Public Events, Adventures, Patrols, strikes, heroic adventures and crussible matches. If anything its making everyone do stuff in the game world and it's more alive than ever. If you know Destiny 2 you know that playing 18 hours a day gets you nowhere, but playing for 2 - 3 hours a day gets things done ... so no you are not even causal - you are just bad at the game for stating what you have. Period. :D Period again just to have one more Period than you. Oh now therer are 3 ...

The no lifer basement dwellers will play for 18 hrs straight and get all the new shit, while we are still running around the old content trying to level up. I’ve said it before, if Anthem is good I will erase this yard sale of a game and not feel a bit bad. Edit: For those of you that cannot read, this post has nothing to do with being good or bad, or “sucking”. The majority of players are not the sweaty, marathon playing, Cheeto eating try-hards (nothing wrong with Cheetos by the way). Anyways, for those that do get it, thank you, I have more likes than moronic replies.

So I've came to play a dlc, but found out that I need to grind old things first xD Really all that -blam!- light system is just annoyn crap. I hate it so mach. Yes, most of games do their own similar stuff, but D2 just steals my time in such rough way. Grinding for levels and r'n'g all over the place feels especially shitty because the've even locked guardian customization behind a pretty rare matereal "masterwork core" (oh yeah, you "fixed" it by changing the name...fk u allright?), and while levelling I have to wear gear I DONT want to, and use guns I DONT like. And while I cant play D2 as often as I would want to, it appears now even more clearly that I'm gonna be leveling ALL the time. Meanin I'll be forced to use items i dont like ALL the time. And yeah..even leveling is rng... I can waste e couple of evenings and get powerful gear in the same slot. No way my life is so pointless to play dat thing anymore :)

8 Repliesyou do realize black armory is supposed to be a continuation of the endgame from season 4 right? If you weren’t 600 by the time Black Armory came out and couldn’t hit 610 with your powerfuls then you either have [b]REALLY[/b] bad RNG or you just don’t play a whole lot. I can understand time being an issue but at this point you should have at least 3 characters to do powerfuls on. You’d also have an entire week to do those weeklies. I haven’t even finished doing weeklies on my third character and I’m already 626, it’s not that hard

Well most of the fire teams are useless on Bungie.net so just keep going at it solo and you'll be ok. I may have beaten the Forge twice by getting people from there but most of my completions have been with randoms from the matchmaking. I can understand the level of Elitism on the Forums but it's always laughable when they turn around and are utterly incompetent. I guess Bungie is kinda doing something right with introducing Matchmaking.

I work 40 hours a week, often more than that, and have classes that I have to work on. I managed it after 3 days with careful prep.

5 RepliesI have a 40-50hr job and got to 600. Sure it was extremely boring and uninteresting but I got there. Luckily Black Armory showed me this game wasnt worth my time anymore. Thankfully I woke up so I could stop playing this mess of a game.

I completed it at 600, took us a couple of goes but we did it multiple times once we’d decided what to run for supers.

1 ReplyThere's no split to the player base because it's not a true MMO. If it were.. then yeah, I'd agree...but with 90% of the game being solo, and the rest auto matchmaking...there's no noticable split.

Getting leveled up and finding a team isn't hard. I know putting in minimum effort is a new concept to you, but at least try.
