Do you plan to? Or are you about to part ways with Destiny?

2 RepliesWith d3 the mobile version coming out soon we don't have to worry about dlcs or expansion packs .
-
Nms is doing yet another big update So that's getting reinstalled. And I've got red dead and fallout 76. Which should tide me over until anthem. So that's a no from me
-
3 RepliesI won a psn gift card so I bought it with that. I'm starting to feel like I made a mistake though..... Dlc comes out in a 2 weeks and nothing but silence..... Not feeling too good about my purchase.
-
I’I night the collectors or digital legendary shit so it’s all included
-
Think its bull that you have to buy all 3. First could be great and next 2 could be crap. Or they pull the sane thing they did when forsaken came out and made people buy 2 old DLC if they wanted forsaken. Then 2 weeks later once they made money and screwed people over on buying sh@# they didn't want they sold forsaken separately. Probably same thing they will do for annual pass. I haven't bought it yet but everywhere I've looked to get it, they don't sell annual pass separately. Have to buy it with forsaken. Why would I buy that when I already own forsaken

Edited by PhEnOm: 11/24/2018 4:18:43 PMMe! And i definitely won't do, before being convinced it isn't as sh**y as i expect it to be! Everyone with a bit common sense should be worried about the content coming with each dlc. As it's already clear that this is the games' future until summer '19, the future looks pretty terrible. I'm not paying again for reskins i've already bought in the past. And as this is coming cheaper than CoO, that wasn't even worth being a free dlc, only a fool does pre-order without knowing what the money is paid for. And it needs even bigger fools to defend this idiocy..

I didn't even buy Foresaken. Bungie does not deserve my money anymore. They are nothing but a bunch of hucksters always trying to do the least amount to get the most money. Bungie is a lost cause. The only talent they have left are their artists. Their programmers or game creators are plain out terrible and seems this game is way over their heads. Probably because all the good people that use to be at Bungie left awhile ago and all that's left was the bottom of the barrel. Because it shows really bad.

4 RepliesI bailed on Destiny at the Forsaken announcement. Too many systems I hated were coming back, and the price was absolutely insane when you consider..... I got story missions as strikes in 2 expansions XP was throttled there's micro-transactions they only patch in most requested features and changes when they are trying to sell something new to us They won't pony up the cash for dedicated servers Streamers are designing this game I'm just got fed the -blam!- up. Instead of making a game I want to play, Bungie has decided to just introduce more ways to make people spend money. Apparently that's way easier than innovating.

I already have it. Looking forward to it

Edited by Andrashimmortal: 11/24/2018 3:53:12 PMI don't plan on sticking around. Left soon after Taken King, will likely leave after I experience the raid on my two other characters along with the Shattered Throne. After that I have no interest in supporting a dev team that seems so keen on appearing clueless. There's better devs out there who release games with a lot more "meaningful" content for the prices they charge, actually making sure people know what they're paying for in the first place. Black Armory is still an unknown while CDPR released a 45 minute video encompassing various mechanics and content that'll be in a game that doesn't even have an official release date yet. Expecting players to shell out 40 dollars on content they don't even know anything about is shady as hell and not worth anyone's consideration until they bother to lay out the fine details on exactly what to expect.

2 RepliesI bought it. When I left D2 shortly after it launched I felt the game was complete trash, a total let down. Redownloaded it for the memes when it was free and found that the Crucible was not only playable but actually fun (that has since changed lolol). But I have really enjoyed the changes they've made and I've had a good time with the PvE side of the game. Bought the season pass to ultimately save money and have new content to check out here and there. Usually I do not buy season passes for games but I did not feel that $35 was excessive.
-
I haven‘t and I‘m planning to leave Destiny, since I have no more motivation to play it and can use my time better by doing other stuff/playing other, more fun games.
-
No. I don't even know what I'd be paying for still. Also Destiny is done man. Kiss it goodbye. Forsaken was the final "pop" of life.
-
2 RepliesI don't think it's about the money any more. It's more about faith in Bungie
-
1 ReplyWaiting so see what comes and how it’s obtained. I’m not paying more money for a raid I won’t do, a new mode that may or may not have matchmaking, exotic quests that force me to play modes I don’t like or require RNG to even drop, and a bunch of reskinned weapons and armor. I get the feeling the annual pass numbers are really low.
-
48 RepliesIt's pointless, D1 did this for free. Anyone remember when they brought back the prison of elders before rise of iron came out? Gave us some really cool weapons and armor? That shit was really fun and I'm sad that D2 pulled another scam on its players. I have already stopped playing destiny 2 and probably won't play untill D3 and even then I'm waiting for the review so I don't get scammed once more.
-
Going to wait and see.
-
Nope, after the FoL and the "who done it" event I have stopped caring about this game.
-
Wait till it drops in price like 3 weeks into forsaken..don't want to get burned , and player numbers are getting low unfortunately. Is it worth the money anymore? :/
-
1 ReplyI have it and I can’t wait for the black weapons.
-
Yeah, picked it up the other day. Might be alright. Not really concerned, so many other games coming up that D2 is going to become increasingly more casual for me (and likely lots of other players too) if things don't improve. Got enough games on Black Friday to keep me busy for a while anyway.
-
19 RepliesBungie has only a 50% track record with small dlcs. Dark below and curse of Osiris were terrible. I’m going to wait and see how black armory is before buying anything. If it’s good I’ll get it. If it sucks I won’t.
-
I didn't buy it and I think I won't buy it. All the game is a mess,PvP , pve, laggy ........big loading time, etc. So I won't pay anymore for this game until they will fix all the game.
-
I want to finish collecting all the Forsaken specific Exotics first before buying more DLC. Hmmmm... I guess that means I won't be buying pass anytime soon, if ever.
-
2 RepliesProbably not. Due to exotics being a little to rare. Played all season and only got one new exotic. Not doing it again. Also the MM ing in Comp is completely messed up. I am constantly put up against Luna and NF players at 1800pts. That's ridiculous. I'm all in for a challenge but when Bungie is manipulating matches and a lot of other things it just becomes pointless. They are not getting anymore of my $$$$$$$
-
1 ReplyForsaken has been a very good expansion but three months after it's release I am still chasing most of the exotics and I have given up, so NO, I won't be buying the Annual Pass , probably will wait until next September for an offer including the new DLC and this one, as much as I love this game I feel like Bungie does not respect our time as devoted player Whoever decided to keep us away from the new exotics deserves a slap in the face3, I am OK with the kow drop rate, a few days ago I received my 11th duplicate since the latest patch , so I closed the game and uninstalled it.End of story
