I'm taking damage like I'm wet tissue paper even when I'm not agressive or up and personal with enemies. My health drains like crazy fast from a golblins slap rifle and it's getting annoying.

8 RepliesDid you win the first round? If you win the first round, especially by a large margin, you will get a damage nerf in the second round - this is the catch-up mechanic that needs to be addressed, not invades primeval stacks.

4 RepliesGambit is broken. I've gone in games and been two tapping enemies and suddenly I need 4 bullets to kill the same adds. I shoot at an enemy invader and take their health down by hitting them with 4 bullets from my gun then suddenly nothing is hitting. I can't see who I'm queuing with until I fly down to the match. Inevitably I'm matched against a full fireteam and I have 3 other solo players with me. This is a loss 90% of the time and I'm supposed to waste 20 minutes of my time doing this cos if I leave before we land I get a quitter punishment. Personally I don't leave but many times I land with only 2 or 3 in my team. I start getting hit and can't see what's attacking me. Run for cover and still die. What was shooting me was adds from across the map. The damage they did was the same as if I was next to them. I check primeval damage and enemy teams has full health bar. I jump in through portal and enemy primeval is dead. Literally that fast. Gambit needs so much fixing and Bungie response? Double and triple infamy. Who cares?! You can give me 10X infamy, but if I am constantly against stacked teams with 2 laser warlocks I will never win so can not obtain infamy. Fix the game and stop with the BS.

4 RepliesBungie manipulates matches, they doing it in PvP.They are the biggest cheaters in destiny.

A few weeks back I stopped playing anything "competitive", ie competing against other players. This is one of the reasons. It just seems like you get hammered by a hidden mechanic if the game thinks you've been doing too well. Like I've been modded with Glass but the mobs get Iron and Rainbow burn me. Burn, not just lightly singe. I used to get a similar feeling in Crucible. Also getting the reverse of it sometimes where I couldn't believe I'd survived some skirmishes. Also on console, the overall PvP experience is just Arse anyways. 30fps maximum and very ropey detection etc

Edited by Stromite: 11/16/2018 6:10:52 PMThe damage taken and dealt out is completely unpredictable. I’ve put full mags into marauder dregs at close range and caused no damage at all to them. But other times I only have to sneeze in their general direction and I wipe a whole mob of them. Likewise, I’ll get one shot from nowhere but a few minutes later I’m near invincible. And don’t even talk to me about teleporting Cabal. Or Minotaurs spawning 5 feet behind me, from out of nowhere. It’s bullshit.

It's cause gambits rigged so bungies already decided if you are gonna be a tank or die from 1 measly shot! Ruins the whole experience for me.

There appears to be an artificial light disadvantage. They do more you do less. Makes the PVE harder.

2 RepliesMy guess would be that the enemies secretly scale up with the host. So if the host is like 580 and you are 510, then this would explain why you deal less damage and take more or vice versa. Only my hypothesis though.

Edited by zJDz: 11/16/2018 7:46:19 PMHappens to me a lot. Also it’s like they are all professional snipers especially when an invader comes in and you are trying to hide. Those dang adds hunt you down and sometimes shoot at you from the other side of the map.

Peer-to-peer bulls**t game, that's why.

I usually only have issues with shriekers, cabal turrets and Cyclops. Otherwise, I think its fine. I do use cover to my advantage. Maybe don't stand out in the open and get team shot?
-
2 RepliesIts probably because you have very low resilience. 3-5 on all three guardians you have displayed. Raise it up if you want to be more like a tank.
-
I’ve been noticing that more but not till the recent patch
-
Because you have PvP health in there, not PvE health.
