People just get annoyed because of the delayed time.
You see, you think you got away, you die.
This also leads to shared damage because your team is usually behind you if you are the intended leading target.
You also can set traps and close escape routes making things harder for the other team.
In talented hands, the telesto is very controlling.

My hands are the talented hands. I think that's what people get upset about. I'm a solid player, by no means a pro, but I can wreck with pretty much any fusion rifle because they've been my favorite since D1. The delay is awesome, but if my aim is true with any other fusion rifle you'll dissolve on the spot. They are an obscure gun, so when players get destroyed by them, it has to be the guns fault, not the fact that I've put my time in getting good with the underdog weapon.

That’s my view and always has been. Talented players over any weapon in the game. I have no issue with the telesto and I actually refer to it as the reminder... to have fun and stop complaining about weapons and wanting nerfs.

Sounds like it but I’ve only come across a couple of good telesto users. None of whom have used it in that sense to cover escape routes. But I don’t play that much pvp.

Yeah, for the most part, no issue.. if you ever get a full team trolling with it... if you do not leave the match, you will not forget the match that’s for sure. One player, non issue. Two players... depends if they are working with or just two randoms, but will not be bothered. A 4 stack in comp or 6 in quickplay... and the match becomes hard to play at all. If this does happen, the best thing my team did was join in on the fun. We had a 6 v 6 telesto dog fight.. and not going to lie, we were all laughing our way through the match.

Alright 6v6 telesto sounds fun
