The game needs to give no rewards to those players that have a KDR below 1.0. If you aren't getting at least 1 kill per respawn, you're useless. You don't deserve loot, experience points, nor crucible tokens for being dead weight.
But this is the generation where everyone gets a participation trophy because of sensitive people that will cry and make petitions because of their hurt feelings.

The reason being that I literally don’t care about winning, losing, playing well, or putting in any more than the absolute bare minimum. I hate PvP with a passion but when the weekly involved the % and wins/good performance helped you finish it faster I actually did try to improve and even had a few decent games where I’d get close 3.0 kd. But once they changed the weekly to just “play 5 matches” and made it so that my performance doesn’t matter and I’ll get what I want regardless? I stopped trying because doing well didn’t contribute to getting what I wanted. Unlike what that other poster said, I’m not in crucible because it’s fun. Quite the opposite, any and all pvp content is an absolutely miserable experience for me and since I hate it, I don’t have any motivation to do well. If they changed the weekly to wins or required a positive kd? I’d just stop going in to pvp entirely. But I imagine that’s probably what you want the outcome to be. Edit: let me add I’m not interested in being carried either. I genuinely don’t care if my team wins or loses. If they’re all bad I don’t care, if they’re all amazing I don’t care. I’m only interested in getting my weekly done, that’s it.

Go sit in Rumble then. Where the only person that you will cause to lose is yourself.

So go do your weeklies in comp. You are low enough to where no one will care if you are doing bad. Heck your teammates might even leave to speed up the process for you and if they don't the games are typically shorter anyway.

Yeah I have leaches. Yes it can get aggravating. But then I also realize that those “leaches” are people having fun. And I get over it.

That's my point entirely. They are having fun at you and your team mates expense. Everybody is rewarded. You can walk into a wall, feed the enemy Nova Warp Warlock super, jump off the map, teabag your team mates, flinch your team mates, AFK, etc. And you will still be rewarded loot, experience points, and tokens. If someones way of having fun is sabotaging their own team, they should not be rewarded for it. You should only be rewarded for pulling your own weight. 1 kill per 1 life at the minimum. This will get players to actually try to play to win. This is also why a lot of players hate bounties or quest steps that require you to win matches, because of the "Lol it's just QP bro, chill" mentality which carries on into Competitive Mode as well. And how would you misspell the word "Leeches" when you can see how it's written via my post is beyond me.

But the kid with autism having fun doing his best, or the 60 year old grandpa playing with his grandson should be rewarded for trying their best. Your a glass half empty guy. A pessimist. I am not. I don’t see people as burdens. I’m the top of my team 90% of the time. Consecutive loss’s because your team mates are dumpster fires can suck. But it happens. I don’t let stuff like that get to me. And I used how you spelled leeches because I was quoting you. 🤷♂️

Wow. More people who can’t let “casuals” enjoy the game they paid for because they think video game rewards are important enough to spite others over. These rewards aren’t real. They don’t make an impact on real life and you will lose them with nothing to show for it in a few years. Let people have fun and just play it for what it is...a game. Go earn rewards doing something that actually matters in the real world.

If you are consistently at or below 0.99 KDR, you are a detriment to the team. Your "enjoyment" is coming at the cost of five other players that get enjoyment from winning. You should get zero rewards for trying to lose. You should only be rewarded for trying to win. Players need the carrot on the stick to actually have incentive and motivation to play well and play smart. Otherwise, they will just end up feeding the enemy team kills, purposefully walking off the map, or AFK'ing because they already know they will still get rewards for doing absolutely nothing all match.
