Current state of crucible.

I’ve really come to dislike the current state of pvp. It was fun at first, but now the meta is settling in. Shotguns are once again #1 on the crutch/cancer list. It’s so stale and boring to run around and be one shot/traded with. Their are clear imbalances between weapons. The Luna’s howl is way overpowered and nearly impossible to counter in short-medium range with any other handcannon. The spawns are absolutely garbage and are clearly designed for 4v4. The games heavily rely on power ammo which should not be the focus of the match. Rumble is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had to play 25 matches of and seriously make every problem there is extremely prevalent. One-eyed mask and ursa curiosa are the absolutely most idiotic broken exotics they have ever created. Instant health regen and overshield on kill? Infinite sentinel shield? Yea not broke at all Have I mentioned how terrible rumble is? You can’t spawn without two people next to you. Certain supers are crazy, crazy op. For real none of the supers need to be given their health back on kills, they’re already nearly impossible to take down on your own let alone do it from full health after they just killed your teammate. Yea...stale is the best word I can use to describe it. Best way to fix it? IMO I would say nobody spawns with special. Every kill you get will drop 1 special ammo for you personally but will require you to actually use a primary. Increase heavy from 45 seconds to 2 minutes. One eyed mask only starts health regen and takes a full 3-5 seconds to give you an overshield after a kill and any damage taken interrupts it. Ursa furiosa and shards of galanor can give you a maximum of 50% super back, ursa requires way more damage, shards requires three kills with a single barrage. Reduce flinch caused by 180 rpm handcannons. The harder the slug, the more flinch you should feel. So the slower rate of Fire handcannons should flinch you way harder and the trust/Luna archetype should barely flinch you at all. Rumble, would be fixed by these changes, spawns need work

  • Gotta agree with the Rumble complaint. I also played the 25 matches required for the Redrix quest, and most of the time, I was spawned next to two other people. I think this would be solved if the maps used for Rumble were bigger. As for the rest, I think Crucible is okay as it is. I do not want shotguns nerfed because they are the only thing preventing the stale Graviton Lance/Vigilance Wing team shooting meta from returning.

    • One Eyed Mask and Ursa? The damage bonus you get from One Eyed Mask is so little and the shield can be destroyed with 1-2 shots. Ursa is only good against idiots

Luna is supposed to be OP. That's the point. For Ursa don't shoot at the shield you will die to the super anyways 75% of the time. I haven't run into one eyed mask much. Special is fine, run fighting lion and a hand cannon it takes out shotgunners. Shards gettinng nerfed would screw it for PvE (though you may hafe just meant for crucible). Changes to special would just make the game slow again it's more stale when it's slow to me.
