These crucible quests are cancer, the matchmaking is terrible, you earn so little score and it gets taken away from you when you loss, everyone knows this. PvE content is designed to be beaten, there is no design when it comes to winning in crucible. (I hate myself or saying this) I have a 1.66 ka/d ratio so i can hold my own a little, but I can't win games when I'm matchmade with people who go beneath 1.00 and drag the team down. "Okay then just form a fireteam and play." Not everyone can find a fireteam, which is what the people saying that are seriously failing to realize. My best friend can't regularly be online at the same time as me to play. I saw a great post saying that matchmaking is dividing friendships. You may not want to play with your best friend because your friend may not be good enough to win matches in competitive. So true, and now a quarter or less of the community wants me to throw my friend under the bus and find a different clan so that I can get redrix's broadsword (because of time needed) and luna's howl. the same post said, and i think i remember a d2 vidoc saying, d2 is built for friends. Sure, maybe they want you to play with friends, but if you can't arrange time, respect that and don't force me out of my familiar clan to a new one with random people i make not like. As far the progress made toward the quests, how about simply only forward progress? Losing in comp? Fine as long as I don't loss glory score and can progress one win at a time. Also it would hurt anyone to give out more than 84 score for a 5 win streak in comp.
Matchmaking.......... how about skill based not rank based. I've seen people say that rank based is balanced. If comp is truly based on glory score, those people don't understand that someone with a 3.14 ka/d ratio can have 150 glory score and go up against someone with a 0.56 ka/d ratio. "Oh but than the matches will take longer to start." Okay then bungie can add more rewards at the end to compensate. More glimmer, more tokens, maybe more legendaries, definitely more valor and glory score. "But redrix's broadsword and luna's howl/not forgotten are for the top tiers players." 1. If that's the case crucible will be turned into a mode equivalent to a war between the US military and child soldiers, and the US uses nukes. I have died consistently to luna's howl with 3 shots. Why give only the best players something so powerful, so the can stomp on everyone all the time? There are toxic people in this community that go into comp with LH/NF and grief on teams so they can't win. We paid relatively equal money for this game and it isn't pay to win so why can't it be fair? 2. Are there no "top tier players" in different sports leagues? Are there no top tier players in college football or AAA baseball? There can be, they would be in the top of their tier, not necessarily "top tier players." Why can't good players of different skill brackets get the luna's howl and the not forgotten by playing comp exclusively against (me for example) other 1.66 ka/d ratio players or near that (when i'm playing solo). And if the matchmaking gets long because of that, grant more rewards, simple math. If I still lose, I can't blame anyone but myself (or maybe my team if they are still doing bad and I'm close or at the top of the scoreboard). Nothing can stop a team from squadding up with a god to play better, but the world isn't perfect.
In my opinion, there are not very many solutions to the problem that at least 80% of crucible related forum posts are about. They could nerf the perk for the luna's howl and not forgotten but nobody wants that. They could at least get rid of score loss so we only make forward progress and increase point gains. Or if they want to keep scoring like it is (which wouldn't surprise me since masterwork cores are still going to be needed for infusion, WHICH NOBODY WANTS BUNGIE, after the mid/late October update) they need to fix matchmaking. I've seen a couple people say bungie doesn't check their forums, so I'm prepared to uninstall d2 if enough people did also to protest their matchmaking or change the quests, when their average player count drops, maybe they'll pay attention.
CAN'T WAIT TO READ ANY REPLIES FROM PEOPLE SAYING I'M WRONG AND STUPID AND ANY OTHER POSSIBLE SYNONYM. I JUST WANT TO DO MY PART TO HELP WITH THE ISSUE. LEAVE ME ALONE.
If anyone wants to get into more arguments about d2, let me know. I'll make a post about titans.

You should really make a statement by making sure each character is stuffed with inventory and then deleting two of them. Keep filling up your third character and deleting the contents in that characters slots. Delete everything in your inventory. Mods, planetary materials, everything. Make a new character for one of the empty slots that you opened up just so you can delete the last one that has any history on it. Post the vid of you doing so. That will definitely show Bungie how serious you are. Have fun with the games you play in the future. :)
