Solo competitive support group
Please come in and comfort me by sharing the pain you have encountered.
Like many of you I also am grinding for luna and for every good game I have i make a little progress, but there are too many occasions that I get shafted by quitters, matchmaking, blind teammates, toxic players bagging for nothing, I could go on...
Anyway! Please share your experience so I don't feel so bad.
So nearly a year later and having given up on lunas I finally got it wile working on the revoker quest, definitely alot easier now so anyone else that gave up may want to give it another go.

2 RepliesThe struggle is real, im bloodied and battered, but the fight is at its end, Comp has lost and I have won, the countless hours of flying shotgun hunters and team shooting whores has silenced, I’m at 2070, gonna let the weekly reset bonus points push me over the edge, for those who aren’t quite there, there is pain..... suffering..... doubt..... rage...lots of rage, but know you will prevail, every inch crawled is still a step in the right direction, and that light at the end of the tunnel that is Luna’s howl draws ever closer

Wholesome. My comp experience has been pretty sh[i]i[/i]t so far. People leaving, terrible connection issues, 4-stacks, garbage teammates. I was around 200 glory when I started the quest. I'm currently trying to get precision hand cannon kills and I'm only 730 glory and dropping...

1 ReplyLast night I loaded up competitive. I'm only at 1200 points, and am trying to get solar kills. So why TF did I get paired against a four stack who all either had Luna's howl or not forgotten? We got one kill across six rounds of countdown. One f******g kill. Why bungo?!?

Gotta be honest, wasn't a very bad experience. I earned probably 1500 of the 2100 points solo.

Im playing solo aswell and need 200 points more for Luna. I get matched against 4 stacks every time.

4 RepliesWhat I see the most is that the I end up matched with 7 other randoms (which I'm fine with) but what is not okay is the team balancing. I have an okay rank at 1300+ which means that I will ALWAYS get the randoms that have ranks 3 times lower than mine even as low as less than 100, but the other team have equal ranks around 1000 ish. Basically Bungie is forcing me to try and cary 3 low ranks against 4 capable mid ranks and its almost impossible. Also I'm sick of people saying "I did it solo, why can't you". Well I can improve my shot, put on a sweaty loadout but at the end of the day, I'm trying to get headshots with a handcannon while 4 coordinated players are rushing me with shottys and My team (if you could even call them that) are not sticking with me. COMP is a team mode. People need to starting playing like it

when im host or im solo my lobbies are always sweaty wether it be comp, quickplay doubles or rumble idk why, that being said when i go into comp and im having a bad game my teammates come through. even when im against a 4 stack and its all randos still no prob

2 RepliesIt’s been... a ride so far. One game took too long to load in, so someone in my team left. Had countless encounters with people leaving after seeing a 4 stack. Breakthrough is a nightmare. I don’t even want to begin to get into that. I was stuck in the in between of brave and heroic for 4 hours straight. And the shotguns... Ohh, the shotguns.

I was on a five win steak, won two more games and was banned for 'quitting'. No-one in any of my games quit lol, sad because I was actually having fun and stuff. I only play solo, so instances like this are extremely rare, I usually hate this game's matchmaking.

Solo player trying to get to Fabled for Luna's Howl. And if that alone didn't hurt your soul. I've been half way through Heroic for weeks. I've gotten breakthrough 3 times so far. Every single time, one of my teammates leave before the first round even really starts. Guess I'm just a really lucky guy.
