Ok, funny joke Bungie.
Sure, Edge Transits drop rate was nerfed. But why is it STILL dropping more than a thots panties?

Edge Transit should be an exotic. It shoots out edge transits that clusters into more edge transit. You reload by putting individual edge transit into the drum. And to obtain the weapon, you fight a humanoid edge transit that has edge transits for limbs. It holds two edge transits and it's main attack is shooting out engrams that become edge transits. Also it's health bar and shield bar is the edge transit icon.

I was grinding EP fro edge tran... I mean the Ikelos shotgun for some of my buddies and we got more edge transit drops than shotgun drops so...

Because there isn't enough weapons. When you get a heavy it's always Edge Transit or Abide the Return.
