Prime Engram Droprate
I can understand exotics being rare, fine. But please bungie fix the multiple days this week with no daily powerful quests. its not that difficult, you guys stated yourselves its a 4 day rotation of strike, heroic adventure, crucible and gambit.
Second, I don't know about you guys, but I can do EP for hours, with countless challenging enemies and not get one prime engram drop, wtf. And I try all other sorts of ideas, strikes, missions, loot caves, same results, dry ass prime engrams.

I just do the weekly and daily’s then run strikes I got 9 yesterday finally moved up 4 light to 550

1 ReplyDid you by chance do any of the engram exploits? Because if you did all of those drops counted as prime engram drops. I think bungie said that people who did engram expoits would see a very noticeable drought of drops until their invisible engram counter reset.

Youtubers post "prime engram farm" Bungie watches video, nerfs farm. At this point the streamers are f'n over the entire community for views.

It’s RNG so there isn’t a reliable method for getting them outside of doing things you know have a ton of yellow bars like EP, Gambit, and Blind Well.

Ever since they talked about the engram exploit the drop rate seems terrible on primes. Before my daily primes would drop pretty quick now sometimes one won't drop for 3 hours or longer.

They're very fishy I've had days where 3 drop or days like yesterday where I que almost 20 strikes; multiple lost sectors and iron banner and only 1; also noticed the longer you play the higher the chance of your attunement dropping when you pick up the first one.

They drop every 2 hours or so in the strike playlist.

1 ReplyDepends what you’re doing. You need lots of high level enemies. Clearing activities like the nightfall, blind well, escalation protocol etc etc are going to help lots more than just roaming around shooting trash tier enemies.

2 RepliesDreaming city - Rheasilvia there is a lost sector in the waterfall, you jump down, you u will see it. - you fight a wizard in there, but there are a couple of Heavies in there. - its a 560 Lost sector but I clear it easy with my Hunter. I dropped 2 from about 30 Mins of Farming in there. good farming spot. side note: one went to my postmaster, and the other one I had on me I decrypted the one I had on me, got a nice buff, and went back, forgot about the shit in my Postmaster, and went farming again, once all my slots were full I went to the tower and it said "Postmaster Full" and my Engram was gone. oh well. keep that Postmaster cleared when farming. lesson learnt.

I normally get 3 a day.

Blind well tends to drop them. I dunno. I get a decent bit of them, but I also play way too much haha. Usually shoot for at least one each "session". Didn't get one tonight though, who knows.
