Don’t give datto the emblem
I see many people telling bungle on twitter to give the 24 hour emblem to datto. He beat the raid in 24 hours and 2 min, so he didnt earn the emblem

3 RepliesHe finished 2 mins over the mark?? Jeebus, just give him the damn emblem. Why are people really bitching about this? I could see not giving it to him had he taken 2 extra days, but 2 damn minutes. Hell lag and loading screens can attribute to that time loss and difference.

2 RepliesI say give it to him, not out of pity, but because his team were one of the few who didn’t use the prime engram exploit. To complete with two minutes extra while being way more underleveled than their rivals is still impressive. I mean only 12 other people have the emblem. And all those people exploited a glitch to get it. What’s 6 more people? Think whatever you want but that’s just my opinion

4 RepliesThey missed the deadline, plain and simple. I don't get a gold medal for any other challenge in any game even if I'm a millisecond late. That's how it is. You don't get Whisper if the last boss is at 0.1% health and time ends before the last rocket flying at his face can finish it off. You also don't get this emblem by missing the deadline by two whole minutes. They were the 3rd team in the world to slay Riven. They can be proud of that while the world goes on not caring.

Well if he missed the mark then he shouldn't get it but I don't really care if they give him the participation trophy either....it's pretty irrelevant to anything in "My Life"

14 RepliesOh please, everyone here knows if any of you had finished the raid two minutes over the mark it'd be the most unfair thing in the world, and you'd all come to the forums making threads about how you earned it. Scrolling through this thread, you can see that it's just for people to vent about how they dislike the guy, when he hasn't even asked for the emblem. He said it sucked that he wasn't able to finish it and time, and he left it at that. I'm not saying he should get the emblem, since he did in fact miss the window for it, but people hating on him for nothing simply because they dislike him isn't acceptable behavior.

Don’t give him the emblem. Instead, give him another emblem that states “24 hours and 2 minutes”. Either name the emblem that and/or literally state that on the emblem. I think naming and/or having the name “24 hour loser” would be hilarious but not on Bungies list of great ideas.

I think they set the requirements too steep or released the raid too early. I also do not think he should be awarded the emblem, but I'd be salty as -blam!- with that bad timing.

Everyone saying he should get it are morons. If he gets it that would be like if a team was 3 points behind in the Super Bowl with only 1 minute left to play. They had the ball with 2 tries left to get to the touchdown. They used one play but couldn't stop the clock and time ran out before they could get setup and snap the ball but everyone kept playing, they snapped the ball 5 seconds 2 late and got the touchdown. That touchdown would not count but then let's say for some reason it did and they won. That's almost the same exact situation we are in here if he gets the emblem. He was to late, loading times or disconnects or little issues like that are all still a part of the game. They should have tried a tiny little bit harder or played a tiny little bit better to finish 3 minutes earlier.
