So... you’ve never successfully countered an “OP” or meta weapon with anything else? Yet, less than “decent” players have had success doing so? It’s so satisfying when I win against GL, VW & snipers with my Nameless Midnight. Guess my fancy footwork is too much. And that’s coming from a player not nearly as “decent” as you. That speaks volumes.

Funny that regardless of my skill level I can see that having one weapon ruin the diversity and fun of an entire game mode is a bad thing? I dont quite see the humor? I can still demolish most of the trashcans in this game, regardless of what they use (usually, but sleeper has such a low skill floor lol...) I'm asking for something that will benefit the health of the new game mode instead of letting it get run into the ground in the first two weeks

The new game mode is mostly pve with partial pvp so balancing weapons that are supposed to be beastly in pve is taking a giant step backwards. Nerfs ruin this game, fed up with pve suffering because of nerfs. Sleeper simulant is a beast of a weapon and it should stay a beast of a weapon.

Some things need rebalancing. I've called for a grand total of zero nerfs in D2. Buffs only actually. Sleeper is SO broken in gambit, that I think it should be restricted. Otherwise the idiot nerf brigade WILL get bungie to either nerf it, or make power ammo nearly inaccessible in gambit.... because bungie and the nerf brigade cant seem to understand the concept of a simple targeted solution that doesnt ruin the entire game

Truthfully it could be fixed as simple as swords in terms of gambit: limit the heavy bricks, ie have the ammo cache give 1-2 shots instead of the 3-4 it does now, but yeah even playing alongside bungie last night I agree the gun feels a bit strong

You seem to think you're a lot more competent than you really are. The gun is finally the top dog in an activity, after being one of the more difficult guns to get over the last 3 years, and you trash cans want it nerfed lol. You're the "nerf brigade" genius. Exotic heavies will be the best option in a mode heavy into pve with a short time to do damage to pvp opponents, what a surprise huh?

All of you braindead people who deny that fact are equally at blame with the nerf herders. There is ONE weapon that is the best choice for every aspect of the game mode. BY A LONG SHOT. That ruins diversity and fun. I'm fine with it being strong, but in gambit ONLY it is going to ruin things. Also, I obviously dont "need balancing" if I've managed top 4% stats by using exclusively non meta weapons. I can compete with them on the merits of the fact that on average I am better than most players. BUT in a fair engagement, when you run into players of close to your skill level, outlier weapons like sleeper. RUIN the game.

Do you have a sleeper? Because it sounds like you dont. Talkin about "look at me guys top 4% using non meta(first of all, what's that like 100,000 people or more? Lol bravo champ. And I bet you still got rolled in trials every weekend too so does it really matter that you're trying to make it harder on yourself to brag about it?)" it's strong. For defending and invading. So is acrius. Whisper. Colony. And plenty of other option. But that's only a small portion of the game. Hopefully you find a nice group who have sleeper and that'll deal with your trash attitude to carry you through gambit. It's been 5 days of the game not being AWFUL. Give it some time before you start trying to nerf the guns you don't like or aren't good enough to get.

How many of you embarrassments don't have sleeper, so you really have no idea what you can or can't do with the gun, and are asking for nerfs after a day? Lol I don't even know how to respond to that. You genius act like you're saying facts when you've never touched the gun lol. And You're running around bragging about your abysmal stats all over this post when the game, and the gameplay over the entirety of D2 has been a joke lmao. Nobody cares.
