What was your first reaction when bungie introduced the flood in Halo CE
I remember the younger days of my life when i first started out playing this demo in the gaming store level " carthagrapher " then me and a friend picked the game up but when we came to the level guilty spark we noticed that the atmosphare in the game changed from action to horror. idk if my friend was affected by it but as a guy who has a bit of phobia by horror movies i must say it creeped me out haha. what about you?

I was scared and would only play the Flood levels with my father. 343 Guilty Spark was the level I hated most, more than the Library.

I was just a kid. They creeped the heck out of me. I replayed campaign levels of Halo 1 and 2 a bunch, but I played the levels with the flood a lot less than the others because they scared me.

I actually didn't remember the Flood on my very first playthrough. I just remembered Halo, the Worthog, the Ghost, the Needler, and some point in the game where I was surprised to see 2 different kinds of bad guys fighting each other, and then some big open vehicle fight near the end. It wasn't until years later that I got to know the series the way I do now through massive amounts of playthroughs.

I'll be honest I can't remember, I was too young at the time to remember As far as my memory goes the flood were always just kind of there when young me played halo with my dad, can't remember my first encounter sadly

I got lost in the Guilty Spark level wandering around for ages trying to find my way out. I ended up putting the game down for weeks I was that scared of it.

I was about 5 years olf when it came and i watched my brother play halo CE. I had really bad nightmares about the flood and i was told by my mum to not watch my brother play it for a few years. About 3 weeks later i was watching him play it again

when I saw the infection forms I thought "popcorn bois" too later know thanks to the lore they are 3-4 ft tall the carrier forms I thought were broccoli. at the time I had no idea that I called the greatest threat to the galaxy "Popcorn Zombies."
