I really hate that there's no radar in competitive game mode...
I was grindin the competitive in the beta and in the vanilla and now its just not fun...
the thing is that if there's no radar u cant tell how many people are behind the door and in quickplay u wont get team shooted as much as in competitive since u can tell how many people ur up against...
i stopped raging about graviton lance and VW because im just not messing with these guys and trying to pick just the skillful crucible players... but I cant find them because as I said, there's no freakin radar

I agree, not sure whats taking them so long since the majority of the community feels the same. Agood compromisse is reducing the radars radio so it mainly covers areas close to yoi. But not having it at all sucks

I miss radar too! Both in trials and comp! I think pvp aint the same like it was i D1. I hope They bring back radar and makes time too kill like it was in D1. The thing is that the feeling of pvp i D1 was so much better, i remeber that when trials was starting i played to the end. Dreaming of trials, my friendlist everone played! No none playes!

I want it back too, mostly because I solo queue competitive and to go against an organized team without a minimap is certain death.

Learning to utilize the radar like a god is one of the few difficult things in this game please yes.

1 ReplyIt's competitive for a reason
-
2 RepliesSo you can have more campiness and less coordination. I don’t think it’s a good idea. I prefer no radar. It’s more about map awareness
-
15 RepliesI should not be losing matches just because I dont know from where I am getting shot definetly needs to be brought back
-
No thanks, being the sweat I am, I am happy to lose to someone who clearly had greater game sense than me and not idiots rushing hard af and teaming.
-
Need your crutch eh?
-
At first I hated the no radar, but now it’s not that bad.
-
They'll only do it if enough players will move to Quickplay instead. So, just don't go there.
-
2 RepliesIts easier withou radar, people dont camp corners as much. And when they do, you flank them and get an easy kill
-
1 ReplyDon't camp, keep moving and you'll eventually run into some.
-
1 ReplyNo radar, it’s a team coordination thing. “Shoot, move and communicate.”
-
I was uncomfortable with no radar at first but I've gotten used to it now and it makes things way more immersive.
-
I recently watched two top D1 pvpers play D2 pvp, one of them was absolutely terrible and the other totally dominated. To me if you have skills you don’t need a radar, it’s a crutch.

3 RepliesEdited by TheFieryInferno: 7/14/2018 7:28:03 AMThis isn't battle royale I still don't understand why they took radar away in the first place. Now I have to turn up my game volume all the way to hear if I'm getting flanked.

2 RepliesEdited by brose_one: 7/13/2018 4:39:14 AMI just wanna see my own teammates.
-
I think they should make it like cod. If you shoot or pop your super or grenade, then you're visible in the radar. I agree tho, teammates should always be visible.

Radar was disable in comp to help pleb teams who camp and have terrible movement. Ans as we know bungie LOVES trying to make everything even. So yeah

2 RepliesI disagree .It competitive for a reason .It's meant to be difficult and i like it .

Edited by Bigbob: 7/13/2018 3:34:04 PMI like the idea mentioned above: added back in to competitive but still removed for trials and any other mode requiring pre-made teams... It’s just the nature of the game: if your going to allow for automatic in-game matchmaking, your going to run into those who want to play the mode, but for whatever reason, do not want to participate in voice chat. The discussion of voice chat or not in competitive is probably for another thread... I’m just saying, adding radar back to competitive would help those who know how to play the meta and team shoot (you don’t need a mic for that) with the added ability to at least see when your getting flanked... maybe rework the radar, as mentioned above, to only go off with gunfire. Maybe 1 guy will die to a flank but your radar will be bright red and could alert the rest of your team to turn around.

Yes, back to competitive at least
-
I believe theyre bringing it back to Trials but not competitive
