Kicked from raid over emblem XD
First things first, lmao!
I joined the raid on my warlock on lfg, mix group, couple adults couple kids, all good.
One of the kids chirps up asking if I was a noob and had I done the raid before...
My warlocks almost 380, I know that alone means nothing but I just laugh n say yup done it all don't worry.
He chirps up again and says why you got that basic emblem on then, you're just a nub, put on a raid one he says.
I said look at my gear it's all raid gear, I don't care how basic my emblem is, all my new ones in storage, I don't waste my time on them.
*kicked*
Finds new group, didn't really wanna play with two kids anyway 🙃
I only got around to setting my emotes a few days ago and never touched a shader either 😆

I lasted 30 seconds in orbit in the party
I have only cleared it fully 7 times but the kid DID NOT CHECK RAID REPORT he was only worried about an emblem.
If 7 clears isn't enough for you the. You are an elitist dick 🖕
Also most teams are fine, even some kids are fine and some adults are dicks.
Don't let the dicks put you off looking for groups, laugh like I did.

OK that's a lie I did the levithian once. the group was still a little too low for The raid at the time of launch and got stuck on the baths and the group dissolved. After the group dissolved I was like well all I am getting is tokens no need to do this. Forgot about the moments of triumph and as we all know if you don't get in the raid the first week you are at a major disadvantage in getting into a raid team. Hopefully I can get through them without much heartburn. The anticipation of September has brought me back into the game I've been grinding out the stuff I can do solo for the last couple of weeks.

I proceeded to equip my y1 VoC, Found Verdict, and Corrective Measure along with the full Y1 VoG set with chatterwhite and dared him to check my grimoire score while running Aegis relic perfectly after equipping my ornamented y3 VoG set and VoC(Adept), Found Verdict, and Gjallarhorn. Please know also I had the VoC(adept) equipped when he tried calling me out and that time but he only cared about the emblem.

3 RepliesWe had 8 people in a escalation protocol instance. All over 378. But we got to level seven and 5 of the guys refused to shoot anything unless I transferred fireteam leadership to one of them. No reason to. If they had one they could have joined the other guys. I originally let them join me. I was public. But I know They wanted to boot me and another random and bring in two of their friends. I knew it. They got pissed off after about 20 minutes of resetting level six and not doing seven and just left. With 8 we easily could have beat the boss but with five literally sitting behind a cliff refusing to help and only two guys it was futile. But that’s the toxicity of players. All that time wasted.

so many complain about this stuff.. but, ask yourself, did you want to raid with them.. were they likely not the kind of people you want to raid with anyways.. Are you upset because they want to raid with experienced raiders and you arn't experienced? Are you upset because you arn't experienced and yet want to raid with those who are? Could you simply find another group to run with and have fun, the whole point of the game..

lol.... the ammount of salty wound up ...kids....teenagers..... adults is high on d2 in game and forums.lol. they think its REAL.... when you TYPE lol ... yes type .. o go away....they get upset and think your talking to them like you would outside in real life ..lol

Doesn't make the raid experience fun anymore. On another note, There have been times that I got kick for the mistakes of someone else, wtf!

We were on it for a long while trying to beat the final boss. There was a couple weak links that kept making silly mistakes. Finally when one guy left I convinced my buddy to come over and help us out. The funniest part came when we were making our final attempt. (My buddy was gonna bounce) This kid’s mom came in his room and absolutely lit him up! 🤬 He got super squeaky then. “But mommmmm! I’m at the end! Just one more minute!! Pleeease mom!!!!” She was in full fury mom mode, like heads be about to roll. 😂 We actually nailed it on that last one and cleared the raid. This kid was ecstatic and terrified all at the same time. Grabbed the chest, thanked us and boom, gone. RIP, squeaker. [spoiler]We were doing monitors too and he didn’t even stick around to grab the last one, poor kid.[/spoiler]

Dont worry man, you wouldn't have even finished a normal raid with people like that. If he's honestly looking that hard at emblems its cuz he needs a carry. He saved you a lot of wasted time by kicking you.

1 ReplyWhy I don’t raid anymore. Also I’ve lost a lot of friends in this game who don’t play anymore. Just find it exhausting to start over to get a group to jell like the old days. I was in just a normal LFG NF yesterday with a kid who was cussing because when I had the shard they didn’t clear the adds. They were on the opposite side of the map. Cussing over the mic. Scrub.... Then they sent me Xbox message blaming me and they were 277 and I was 385. Sometimes I can carry a group and sometimes stuff happens. The fun is being sucked out of this community. Hopefully this new expansion will reset everyone’s ego.

Yep, I get kicked from party’s just for farming raids. Doesn’t even matter if I have more fresh clears than all of them combined. Can’t even be mad though, it’s ignorance at its best.

5 RepliesYou were playing with a group who think a loud, noisy muffler on a Chevy Cavalier makes it fast! Thank them, they are unaware Raid gear means you Raid. Reminds me of a time when, standing holding my Fatebringer, I was asked “how did you get that?”, and I replied “Sepiks Prime, Arc burn, NightFall, solo only”! He left the VOG team to do the NF... Spoiler alert: we were farming VOG to get more Fatebringers! I still laugh at this...

4 RepliesI played with this kid that had over 200 clears, all he did was die, he died more than my buddy whom was attempting his first raid in two years. We ended up booting him and finding another.

It sounds like you got lucky, i bet after one or two simple fuuck ups in the raid, people would have rage quitted, they seem like the type. For me, at least complete the raid once but if i have four other members who are experienced and one guy who never done it but knows how to do it and can follow orders then i have no problem carrying them though the raid, i've done that for many people. In the early days of Destiny 2, i tried to carry a full raid team of noobs to finish it. I explained everything to them, they did well until Calus. That was when they had trouble but that's to be expected, it can be a very challenging encounter if it's your first time. We tried to do it for a few hours, but it was 5am so i had to leave, kinda felt bad for leaving them though because we got close a couple times. :P

1 ReplyThat has never happened to me before. I usually am rocking full prestige or sos armor and when they see that they just assume Ive done the raids before. But in general once never run into a toxic raid group before ever. I guess their rarer than I thought.

1 Replyahh, what an asshat! His loss for sure. I wouldn't play with ANYONE that insists I put any gear or emblems on. If he's that concerned he can look me up on raid.report and see how many clears I have.
