The annual pass won't be adding anything to the story, they won't be any raids by the sounds of it... People pay 10$ for a emote.. so yeah

It's the same shit with fortnite, literally the exact same thing. Why is fortnite allowed to do it but any other game that does it is immediately wrong?

Well Fornite is a free game to begin with so micro- transactions for them is the way they make their money. Destiny's pay/buy scale is so terrible because the game is plagued with lots of issues. And of course Destinys famous reskining old gear and recycling old content. If you look at the road map, they are fixing problems that should have been addressed along time ago. If you compare content from D1 on a time scale right now, D2 is very lacking. We had three raids plus prsion of elders, 18 months into the game. D2 has one raid, and two 6 man strikes that are called raids

That's an unfair comparison. D2 hasn't been out for 18 months, yet your trying to compare it by time scale. If anything D2 is crushing D1. In 9 months D2 has 3 raids and EP, and in one year will have another raid and Gambit on top of it. And yes those raid lairs are raids whether you like it or not. Calling them strikes, again, isn't a fair comparison, as they are vastily different. And I wasn't talking about fortnite being f2p, I was talking about them having the same business model when it comes to paid content

Free to play games are built on that business model, everything's free other than the model Destiny 2 isn't a free to play game but uses the free to play model, also with paid dlcs. So you pay for the game, pay for the dlc, pay for the model. You can't even blame Activision, coz cod just went free dlc for 3 yrs

It was 9 months into the game not 18. That was my bad. We are 9 months into Destiny now. Same time scale

Even worse then. 9 months in D1 had 2 raids and PoE, so it's still behind

Don't get me wrong here Destiny is one of my all time favorite games, people are passionate about things they like even if that is expressing it in a negative way. Your a day one player so you know, the content was much stronger in D1 than D2. They are making some things better. But are aways off. The worst part of it all is by the time this one has enough content. D3 will be a thing and no one will play D2.. really sad.

as a d1 beta player I absolutely agree actually with both of you you both have very excellent points really you do. and I do have to agree that the year 1 content in d1 was better than d2. but one of the main reasons for that is because we had never had a game like destiny before, during the year we all had that unexplainable feeling of discovery it was such a nice feeling you really can't describe it. that's why pretty much everybody likes it more then d2. feel free to prove me wrong I probably am lol.
