Armor Looks Bad
What's up with the armor in this game? Original Destiny had great looking armor, and the dye system was great. The armor in this game just looks terrible in comparison.

Idk man, despite how subpar the xpacs are (Warmind isn’t that bad lol) I thought the DLC armor looked really cool. CoO and Warmind both had interesting legendary sets and PS got super cool looking exclusive sets AGAIN. Can’t stress enough how bad I regret investing in Xbox lol

1 Replyi agree with op . i play hunter and no idea why a cloak always long . Its like in movie. Mr indiciple or something . A dress designer deined to make a cloak for his new Hero suit. couz all of most Hero is have a cloak is got hurt by it. like its robe up with a rocket . or its got sucking in to Airplan engine during they fly beside it. that bad end.. ever ... *faceplam

3 RepliesI guess I am in the minority? I really like the warlock armor sets. I just wish they had an actual impact on gameplay with stats and perks. But yeah, the shader system is terrible. Turning them into consumables was such a poor decision. I used to switch the appearance of my armor in D1 all the time. Not anymore, even though I have a lot of shaders

Edited by blade329: 5/14/2018 5:07:07 PMFor the most part, the armor is ugly in this game. Any of the Blue gear is hideous. I refuse to wear any of the EDZ armor or shaders. Blah!! However, I'm seeing more and more better looking stuff appear. The Warmind gear, for the Hunter, looks good. I really like that Arctic Armor that Anna Bray is pushing. The Iron Banner stuff looks great, as always.

Personally, I think we should be allowed to reskin our armor but then I remember that all armors in the game are reskinned baseline restoration, resistance, or mobility. Let me reskin Exotic Armor so they can match my armor set. They have it in WoW, Swtor, Conan the barbarian MMO (the old one), and so forth.

I use the Titan NM gear with ornaments. Looks awesome. But yeah, there is a lack of great looking armor. I've got the full raid lair set and it just makes me look like a fat rhino.

Have you seen this seasons eververse armor? It's actually disgusting. The Curse of Osiris armor for the hunter ( -the cloak ) is the best looking imo
