And keep a very close eye on the sept expansion too.
It's very very clear that this dlc is built for 'strong' fireteams. If you're solo, casual, or suck, there'll be nothing to do.
Escalation protocol you say? Well here's the thing, the good stuff only drops from the stage 7 boss. He's 400 power. The elite will only hit 380 in a month, that's 20 below the boss. People at the summit couldn't get past stage 3 because the boss was 370, they were 350 n got 1 shot nonstop, they were using the best guns in the game too, n were 20 below his power. Casual or mediocre? You'll be 365-370 n will never get near the stage 7 boss. Solo? Good luck with a few randoms who don't even know how to trigger a heroic devil walker on titan, nevermind coordinated attacks on high health enemies.
Ranked PvP? Sounds good right? Solo, casual or mediocre? Forget it. If you're decent, playing solo will see you make little to no progress. People will soon become demoralised and stop playing. Losing 4 times in a row 6-0 n getting tbagged by Filipinos with 9000 ping sound like fun? Nah thought not. No communication, no wins.
So you're left with strikes + patrols, no incentive to play either. N broken laggy 1980 netcode quickplay, which you get for free anyway, no dlc needed.
September expansion could very well go the same way.
IMO bungie have messed up, they've built this for the people who left, some will return yes, but the majority of people still plsying, the guys who can't trigger heroic devil walkers on titan, will walk away and the playerbase will be smaller. Bungie changes its mind more than a bipolar woman n that's not good for anyone

Let people decide if they wanna buy the DLC or not if you have experienced any negative game play .. you shouldnt put that as an global situation but keep it to an minimum distance .. like keep it personaly to you're self Everyone has an diffrent taste of games .. why would you destroy that You gonna burst bubbles from Fanboys out here .. no iam not an fanboy .. but srlsy .. if you love Cod and others hate it .. you gonna feel the same as you doeing right here and you don't wanna be faced by all the negativity thats around it -- Bungie needs to learn to fix there stuff -- that will come .. when that may be ! Anyhow in all respect iam not attacking you thats an prommise This is an point of vieuw as i see it .. opinions are just an small context of experience

1 Replyyawn. keep on crying

So, You're upset because it's too hard and Solo players can't have any fun. You realize there are solo players that solo prestige nightfall right.
-
Its a co-op focused game. Of course the game is going to focus on multiplayers and not single player. After all other single player games are out there. Go play them.
-
not buying it cause the game is still not better then d1. frankly i dont even think ill buy it when it is better.. they simply ruined my trust with d2. and they didnt do it lightly.
-
1 ReplyIts a coop game and that why i like destiny, i think being elite, i like having weapons and gear that some people cant get. Thats destiny, and im glad its going back.
-
Here we go again, another elitist dictator. Yawn

1 ReplyOr join a Clan. Or adapt your play style. Or find another game to play. Crying on the Forum about the upcoming changes is not going to matter. Endgame being tied to progression is good for the game as a whole and Destiny endgame has always involved being in a premade fireteam. That’s becoming relevant again making the way you choose to play the game harder to achieve max lvl/light. If you change you should consider buying the DLC if you’re unable/unwilling to change cya later.

1 ReplySounds like you're talking out the wrong end!
-
Anyone that got over 60k(without the cheese) in any Prestige Nightfall will manage this mode easily! Were you at the Summit? No, didn't think so! I'll make my own mind up & not some chump on a forum!
-
2 RepliesSo you got to play for more than a week to get all the loot.Sfw

Oh Dear Lord... Some people are here to play games, I just had my first day off in 13 days yesterday and I dont Regret Playing Destiny. It's a Game, I play to escape Life, let me have my Fun its something I don't get anymore.

they were using the best guns in the game too
How do you know?

You really are completely over exaggerating things mate. And pre judging everything before you've even played it. Chill.

Edited by N8sNotSoGr8: 4/28/2018 6:47:28 PMJust stop with this narrative. Everyone knows that this game needs depth, desperately. You're complaining about higher tier rewards for long time, top tier commitments/skills, because what? You only want to run solo? I get it, the community is small as is, and it will be hard to get these team focused activities going without a healthy community...but telling solo players to not get the expansion...because the end game is getting more complex? I think maybe you need to just wait and see how this will play out, and get off the salt train. This post helps literally nobody. Sincerely, A solo player.

7 RepliesEdited by Blood: 4/28/2018 7:27:09 PMIs this a joke? You're talking about 300+ powers yet your light is 170, you need to stop judging while you haven't finished the game yet and no, the dlc isn't built up for strong fireteams. Any random fireteam can finish a raid. You can shut up and read this since you're one of the haters, https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/244733856?sort=0&page=0

1 ReplyEdited by riki1kenobi: 4/29/2018 7:55:44 AMIF by now you can’t trigger ANY Heroic public event (and complete most/all SOLO) then tbh good riddance 🤫 There comes a time in any gamers life when a question leads to a decision to be made. The question? Is this game for YOU? The decision? That’s for YOU to decide 👍🏻

28 RepliesBy saying this, you are telling them to either give up on the game, or be months behind when the sept dlc comes out. Solo players will still be able to hit max power, however it will take them longer. So by not buying warmind until fall, they will be 5-6 mths of grind behind the new content and power levels. Bottom line, if you like the game buy it and play it. Right now people are blowing the max power grind for solo players out of proportion.
-
1 ReplySo it is a challenge to reach max light. Well that’s exactly what I wanted. You are just wrong. Stay grinding your casual way but don‘t think the whole community agrees with your opinion. We wanted reasons to grind. We‘ll get it. We wanted slower Light/Powerlevel progression. We’ll get it. We wanted harder content for solo players: We’ll get it.
-
3 RepliesI have every intention of enjoying most of this DLC solo. I think you’re wrong.
-
3 RepliesThis post should be changed to: Solo....go buy a different game and stop asking for this, online mutiplayer, fireteam based game to be more solo friendly just because you brought it without paying any attention to the multiplayer marketing that’s been here since D1 🤦♂️
-
2 RepliesMore of the same was not working. Not even close. Proofs in the pudding as they say. They had no choice but to revert to a system closer to that of D1. I guess if you happen to like destiny 2, I guess its kinda sad, but more people want this king and of change.
-
1 ReplyI’m mostly a solo player and I fully plan on wading through any grind Bungie throws my way... A little bit of Raiding here a bit of Trials there (All through the app) never did me any harm. I’m sure most folk with inactive clans muddle through and still have fun.

Looks like a step in the right direction tbh.
