D.F.A - Prestige NF NOT REQUIRED
Speed run Tree of Possibilities. Doing prestige nightfall doesn’t increase your chances of getting DFA.
I got it on my 3rd try running normal.
I recommend Legend of Acrius for heavy. It shreds Boss and Vex Minotaurs.
Make sure to jump over the gap where your sparrow is enabled.
[b]EDIT[/b]: If you don’t know, D.F.A might be the best HC in the game. It has TWO perks on the final skill branch: Opening Shot/Rampage...the middle tree has ACCURIZED RNDS/DROP MAG. It’s equivalent to BDevils on impact/rmp...but that’s all they have in common. If anyone tells you it’s not worth getting...they’re lying to you

1 ReplyYou only need to run the nightfall once to drop that hand cannon. It’s simple to drop it. Can’t believe there’s are people that can’t work out how it drops.

We ran normal mode 6-7 times, the DFA dropped for me twice and not at all for my clan mates, it really sucked they didn’t get it.

1 ReplyI got 2 back to back then my 3rd took about 14 runs. Then I realised the gun is trash and better devils is better. No explosive rounds is really noticeable. Rampage on a 9 bullet gun is not optimal. Increased range is nice and drop mag is ok but you waste a lot of ammo if you use 3 or 4 bullets then reload like you naturally would. Then I took drop mag off and saw the reload is slower than better devils and range doesn't matter because explosive rounds makes up for it. Then it can't stagger enemies So they go into the vault and I'll carry on with my masterwork reload better devils.

9 RepliesIt took me over 50 runs on two accounts, but I got one. From what I can tell, normal is where people get it. Prestige is like the “three of coins” of Nightfalls where the weapon drops are concerned.

1 ReplyI got mine about my 20th nightfall maybe more. I also got it running normal mode. We just bombed through the mission killing next to nothing. It’s better than better devils imo. DFA ftw

Unfortunately, I would have to actually play the game to try to get the HC. Not worth it. Nothing is worth it in this game.

1 ReplyUh, over 40 runs with no drop. It can drop after a few runs, but, you can’t predict it or say there is no difference between prestige and normal.

I haven’t been able to finish prestige yet but I grind Normal mode and got nothing... I have dyed and not, I have added a tree and a team medallion and nothing. I have all three characters and grind them hard and nothing....😭🤷🏼♂️

And bungee said they're increasing PVE difficulty Yeah I think it's quite -blam!- that you can even get an in game weapon from running in normal nightfall. Personally I don't give a ship about the hand cannon it looks terrible and doesn't do anything other than my other hand cannons do. I just think this were just giving out attendance prizes at this point

I got it on my first run on normal, and it was masterworks with stability(I know, I’m an asshole). Love the gun, had a lot of fun using it. Rampage for PVE and opening shot for PVP, had some of my most fun in D2 playing updated rumble with it. Also, it wasn’t a fast run and we didn’t get a high score, I believe it’s just complete RNG.

7 RepliesI feel like as a solo player i'm never going to get it. I can at best finish this strike in 17 minutes and that's just before the score starts to drop to zero points achieved for any kills. Most people i see getting it are speed running it and finishing it quickly and it's dropping. The best score i can do is around 10,000 while finishing it in a timely manner. I run Nightstalker until the last part where you jump the broken bridge with your sparrow and change to Gunslinger after i use my tether on a group at the start of the trail to the boss. I use the nighthawk to push him through the phases along with a rocket for good measure and follow up primary shots and a grenade. I've done it around 50 times now and still nothing. I think because i'm averaging around 20 minutes completion time that my chance is next to nothing if not nothing along with a score that isn't the highest. Everything has to go right and the enemies have to cooperate for me to get it finished under 18 minutes and it is rare, i only did it once. Getting my super back with the minotaur mini boss using the Practice Makes Perfect perk before i enter the next room has been my best method to ensure the boss isn't chasing me around a room full of enemies and lasers. I will keep trying, but it will be disappointing if i don't get it because i love hand cannons. I wish i knew for sure if i was wasting my time because i haven't saw anything yet that told you exactly the conditions you need to meet to get it.

9 bullets is too low for this hand cannon...Raid hand cannon has 12 and fast reload.

Not worth getting. You can complete every activity in this game using all blues with less mods/perks.

1 ReplyClan mate got it on 3rd run of normal. Tired of running that same boring strike. But I’ll try a few more times. This same clan mate ran Crota over 100 Times and didn’t get the crux until right before age of triumph. Guess the game is making that right.
