I’m 68 flawless D2, 300+ D1 and almost 4.0kd for the week In Trials and can’t beat raid boss on normal. Ridiculous, and frustrating. Carried a guy in Trials to flawless who promised a raid, he left 10 min into the raid. Joined a random team and made it to final boss and they left. Joined another guy who said he was at boss and wasn’t and lost CP. My goodness what has this game come to???
Update: thanks to really great guardians who responded to this post. I have finished my first raid and even prestige. Great people, good times, and new friends. GG’s

Congrats

1 ReplyI’ve only been flawless twice and I’m 500% more better than you. Stop bragging about your KD when it’s barely impressive.

12 RepliesEdited by Shaft62702: 3/3/2018 11:04:05 PMI guess your lag switch isn't much help in a raid. Sorry man. How do you have 67 trials wins with a 1.13 kd. Something doesn't add up
-
Lol 4.0 KD you have a 1.15!
-
Wait someone still plays the raids in this game? I mean theres 1.3 raids and we are like 6 months in...
-
If you ever want to run either raids just add me and remind me of this thread. My clan still raids, although we don't do three and four a day anymore. It's only a few a week now. We're even burned out at this point. I teach both raids and prestige mode. My schedule is tough because of work, but if you can play and communicate and execute... you'll one bang it with us, and have fun doing so. Look me up anytime bro.
-
I bet even the people bad at pvp from D1 look like gods on D2. Since your killing the same 25-30 people all day long that still play
-
Your flawless counts won’t help you there lol
-
Pvp isn't pve

4 RepliesGD a 4 kd? I bet your Elo astonishes chess players!! Save some chicks for the rest of us!!! Keep that off your resume so I’ll stand a chance! Don’t put that on your tombstone or you’ll have nerds holding candlelight vigils over your grave at all hours of the night!!! Sorry not sorry! Let me put it terms I know you can understand Raid.report It’s like DTR but for PVE Sweats.... couldn’t resist!!!

7 RepliesHave you tried gitting gud

1 ReplyThe ability to play well in PVP mode does not make you a top pve player.
-
1 ReplyYou need 6 who know what they're doing AND can stay alive. Good luck with that.

6 RepliesHow do people play this game?
-
1 ReplyJust an fyi.....you don't lose your checkpoint. Checkpoints don't go backwards only forwards so if you were at the final boss you will still have that checkpoint
-
Sounds about right, since this seems to be a common thing a lot of times.
-
1 ReplyIf youre on ps4 drop me an add, ill raid with you anytime. If we can get 4 more would be great. Ive beat both raids and prestige a few times, we can get it done
-
2 RepliesMan, you can literally kill Calus with green and blue gear. Endgame PVE has always been the real deal. Trials is just good challenging fun. For me anyways. Try the 100 app. Dude's on there are cool, good players. Lots of Sherpas. Watch some videos so you have the mechanics burned in your brain.
-
I’ll get a group together tonight to run you through, if you’re feeling charitable after a trials run would greatly appreciated.
-
Trials: one player can turn the tide of battle and reverse a loss. Raids: one player can turn the tide of battle and reverse a win... Hell, the game can simply BF you and wipe your team at spawn, just because you aren’t close together... Remember, PVP plays at player speed, PVE at machine speed slowed down to player speed. Machine already knows you lost before you finished executing your mistake move..
-
If you ever run at nights, hit me up sometime. The clan has been absent and I'm back from a break. Haven't played prestige or EoW but I've cleared the normal several times. We need peeps to run with.
-
If you're on ps4 add me and I'll help you run the raid some time. I don't ditch out on people for failing, everybody makes mistakes and has to learn. The only way I'll up and leave is if somebody starts being an asshole.
-
3 RepliesYeah, unlike Trials where it's very possible to carry through, D2's Raid mechanics nearly prohibit that with the auto-wipe system that makes the team only as good as it's weakest member. Not like in D1 where someone can die and the rest of the team can pick up the slack and carry on. It makes the raids much more frustrating, especially when the teams are split up in completely different areas of the map.

2 RepliesA Raid is everyone doing the same thing precisely at the right time. Pvp/Trials is much more complicated and calculated than a raid. Constantly gauging your opponent’s moves and how to beat react/act on that. Overall, pvp is harder. That why more people suck in the crucible than in PvE.
